Being able to control vehicles mid-air

I understand this was in Halo 5, but I didn’t enjoy it in that either. It stops punishing bad and reckless driving, it takes away from the chaos of a bad landing, which have been some of the funniest moments I’ve had in the series. It also makes the vehicles seem weightless, and all in all I think it makes them less satisfying to drive and it even makes them seem slower.

Imagine playing speed halo in custom games but not having to worry about the rolling. That’s like half the fun of that mode.

I know this was posted a while ago but I just wanted to hear people’s thoughts and opinions, so I’m giving it a bump.

yeah i wish it was like the old halo games like 3 and 4 were the warthog would flip out. the new physics prevent me from making nascar pro custom game anymore cuz the physics are stiffer.

Considering this is literally impossible in the real world, I never even think to try it.

I think what is ideal is making the Warthog feel like a car-racing game while still maintaining its classic weight and response to explosions that cause flippage

The more reckless the more fun though???

I would be okay with the OPTION to turn on something like this within Forge, like in case any of us want to create a skuffed version of Rocket League/Griffball

Grifball League of Rocket Spacemenz.

I also find it off on human vehicles as they are using wheels. But the covenant vehicles that always made sence. As it use anti-gravity technology.
