Being able to choose legacy armor model

so you know when you disable new skins right it disables the new armor and all that but it reverts the player model back to the original 2007 model, well in the mod tools i found out that the 2007 player model is actually armor that could be selected like other armor so why not let us choose the og 2007 armor model used for the disabled skins option cause i hate the new halo 4 body it just dues not look right and ruins the halo 3 look, i want to be able to choose the (disable skins) option model while still being able to see and maybe use the new customization

The reason is because there are several untextured sections of the original undersuit where armor in Halo 3 always covered anyway. A lot of the new armor pieces are more open and reveal those parts of the suit.

I support replacing the Mark VI in Halo 3 Multiplayer with the new model from H2A Campaign when the legacy visuals toggle is not enabled, but it’s extremely unlikely as in order to do so 343 would have to go over every classic Mark VI permutation and update/remake the models to match.

Not just untextured, nonexistent, the undersuit and the armor were all 1 model, if you cut off the armor there would just be big gaps where it was.

It would be nice if we could just layer the new stuff on top of the Mark VI armor like in ElDewrito, but only the helmet and shoulders would really work, maybe the wrists, there would be mad clipping on the chest and legs.

I wish they would at least fix the current undersuit though, especially the OG shoulders massive jutting geometry, and the low poly hands with detail-less tube fingers in first and third person.
