I agree. At least at Diamond/Onyx, half the time CTF on these maps means you’re in for a 20-30 minute sweaty tryhard game that ends in a 0-0 or 1-1 draw.
I don’t think I’d hate these modes if they just ended immediately when the game timer expires, but with all the overtime and sudden death it’s just exhausting and frustrating to play. I always feel like I need to get up and take a 10 minute break after one of these matches.
Don’t hate Behemoth for ranked as much as OP seems to; I’d say I personally like it as a map as much as I like Bazaar. I see why it might get excluded from HCS but I still enjoy the map itself - it’s more the particular rules around CTF tiebreaking that makes me dislike it.

I like the map but totally agree with the spawns spots.
We do we get 3 or 4 down and when we push up to their base because the map is so big it takes a while to push up . When we pull flag the entire team has perfect angles on flag carrier and many off us. The map is also just way to big and pushing out is just a nightmare. It needs to leave comp its not viable which is why its not in HCS.
The spawns in this game on every map are pretty awful. You can stand directly on spawn points and people will still appear there
But on those maps the people that spawn usually don’t spawn in which a perfect angle on you and can’t cross map you. Again its not in HCS and it should not be in comp it needs to go.
I don’t disagree with you on this, but keep in mind the devs went on a much deserved vacation following the beta launch. I’m sure a lot of things will be addressed once they return.
I personally like the map, I want more open maps like that where actual gunfights happen, not less. I’m not a fan of tight maps where half the people have grenades or melees as their ToD’s
Yeah it’s just kinda meh. At least it doesn’t feel claustrophobic like some of the other maps
Bro have you played? Its literally just everybody camping in spawn all game. Easily the worst map in Ranked.
Its not in HCS for a reason. It does not belong in Ranked for this reason alone.

Its the most competitive well balanced map of them all. Didn’t you watch how many times it came up in the tournament?

Good map for goofing around or to massacre bots. Normal gameplay is a no-no though

I am yes, and it’s the best map in 4v4 because it’s about the gunplay and map control and not just spamming grenades and grappling with sword
it is until someone cross maps you or two people charge you with a lift or worse you get spawn killed
Cross mapping isn’t bad when everyone can do it. It’s about doing it better at that point. Now I’m AR starts yeah that’s annoying since you can’t do anything about it
