This map looks fantastic. The map looks tight and the overshield area seems heavily inspired by the rocket spawn on Narrows. This map has a unique life to it with the forerunner infrastructure and surrounding environment.

Theres a Halo stream live right now, looks very impressive as a map.

Oh yeah, the training map, I found it spectacular, and there is a huge rise in terms of graphics.

The map is incredibly tight and is absolutely an arena map. After seeing it there is no doubt.
It seems large enough to me that it would be a shame for it to only be available in 4v4. I hope they find a way to make it work for BTB, or at least give us a faithful sandtrap remake so we can get that delicious desert fix with the chaos of BTB.
I was thinking the same thing. Has all the looks of a great map, can’t wait to see if it plays as good as it looks!

I can’t see it being more than 4v4 personally. The map is about the size of Zanzibar it seems like.

Zanzibar is remembered most as an arena map. BTB on Zanzibar is sorta a nightmare IMO. After watching the BTB map it’s quite certain that Behemoth is exclusively an arena map in matchmaking.
MP gameplay looked amazing. Very halo reach meets halo 3 vibes. The art style of the new map has alot of halo ce vibes as well. I thin they really are starting to understand and get down what halo looks and feels like.

Behemoth looks absolutely incredible. SUPER huge halo 3 vibes from that.
I love how the structures have sand over them and look kinda worn, reminds me of the old Forerunner designs, they’ve been there a while, and you can tell. The whole map looks great, awesome aesthetic. Haven’t seen many desert/sand themed maps.

Few things for me stand out, graphically it is stunning. Love the sand, it really stands out as a unique and interesting design, colours contrast extremely well. The backdrop is immense too.
The map feels like it will be a blast to play on for newer players and could be a crazy experience for high level play. It looks like it will be divisive which I love, some skilled players will HATE it. I love the idea, even if I end up hating the map gameplay. A cool part of Halo 3 was learning to play every map, even the ones that forced a really different playstyle, like Standoff. Definitely a corker for Team Snipers too. I’ve enjoyed all the map designs so far, but they continue to give me great hope with these maps that look like they’ll be fun on a bunch of core gametypes for casual and competitive players.
Now we just need a good snow map.

I feel like 12v12 is far too big for this map, however if they ever do a classic BTB playlist which I’m sure will rotate in at some point then this would play quite nicely in 8v8.
Seeing this map makes me kinda want it to be in a certain game mode where 12v12 is played on the arena maps, just for the chaos factor. The map looks great though.
Shout out for the classic Forerunner floor tiles!

It will add a lot of tension in terms of which side gives in first which will allow for pushes. This is how it appears to me anyways.

They can be quite selective with their maps!
Waiting on the inevitable Guardian remake so we can get some Team Oddball on there.
I just want maps that are visually appealing for the tournaments. This map stylistically is perfect, but I think it may be too big for them to consider. Maybe the other maps will look really pleasing on camera, as this is definitely the best looking out the four by a country mile. Hope the forge lets us produce something like this map, because if so we are in for a treat. I can see why Halo Infinite could last 10 years.

Yeah that’s what I’m hyped about too! I played 4 a little bit and never touched halo 5. Having played reach and ODST/3 for the last many many years this halo really looks like it’s going to be great! I hope I can make my Spartan look like my reach one.
