Behemoth CTF exploit

Players appear to be achieving ridiculously fast flag caps by pushing teammates in the ghost across the map really fast.

So they’re virtually impossible to stop unless you can cut them off by being at their end of the map. Noticed this with a sweaty team I was against today.

And this is why friendly fire should be enabled. I don’t get why they disabled it.

Agreed, that and it punishes people for blind firing rockets and grenades etc

It’s also just more fun in general and while I’m not a proponent of “Vidya game must be realistic” it does add a nice degree of realism and immersion that most AAA shooters lack.

People don’t even need to be holding the flag to push the stupid thing; had that happen with our dropped flag. Some jerk in a ghost pushed the thing all the way to a capture and stole the game.

I don’t either. Maybe for testing purposes? This is a flight after all. I definitely second enabling it for the game, at least when it launches.

They’ll keep it turned off in social and enable it for ranked. Which is annoying but I think that’s what they’ll do.

I hate that solution since I play BTB and no friendly fire is very jarring in BTB

Nah there’s a difference between this and the older games, it was a bit more of a balancing act in the old titles, you could do it on the banshee and warthog too I remember.

With this they are absolutely hauling -Yoink- and cross the map in very little time.

Seriously it’s less time than if they jumped in the warthog.

you mean the ghost was boosting?

Yeah and player wasn’t on top he was getting bulldozed a long.

And if that’s a feature you’re referring to then that’s silly because that’s such a broken way of capping the flag

They did a good job overall on CTF, but the reset timer of the flag when no one is on it should be increased slightly

I hate that cause they have no friendly fire in h4 and if I get a vehicle someone wanted they will just shoot me till it blows up and I’ll just pop right out of it

yeah then it should kill when boosting or atleast in older games if you boost the person you carry falls down. also im hearing people saying flag timer reset is good cuz its the ce levels

They’re not balancing on top at all they’re literally being pushed along

Also I don’t hate the reset times, it’s pretty good.

But just when no one is on it, it still resets quite fast, so I don’t see the point in risking yourself trying to reset your flag when if you wait an additional 5-10 seconds it will reset itself.

But it’s not a major issue
