They are just really bad team slayer maps… I will quit every time I get one of those. Maybe many people like them
but they are too big imo.
On another note… launch site is pretty much only good as a 1 flag map… Why you would make a map that is only good in one gametype makes no sense to me. But the way the power weapons / vehicles / map is laid out doesn’t lend itself to any other gametype.

I don’t play Team Slayer, and even I was perplexed by Launch Site and Behemoth being in it. Those maps are horrendous for Slayer. No reason to ever push out.
Launch Site also needs to be removed from Fiesta. It feels so slow.
I kinda agree about tactical slayer, but honestly those are the only two arena maps I enjoy. The tightness of other maps means every time you round a corner, you instantly die from a thousand grenades and a rocket and a gravity hammer all at the same time, and then everyone on the enemy team knows exactly where you’ll spawn so you just die again in four seconds before you have a chance to do anything about it. The tiny maps limit mobility, make grenades easy to land and impossible to avoid, and take away a lot of the strategy of the game, imo.
I think this is largely because the maps are so restrictive in their movement options; similarly small maps in older Halos allowed more freedom of, “where are they gonna go?” In this, I always know exactly where someone is gonna go cause there’s really only one or two viable ways to go at any given time. It’s all so straight and basic. The big maps aren’t a lot better about this, but the sheer bigness of them at least mitigates it a little bit.
Yeah in my opinion they are the worst map of the game

Maybe in ranked, but I’m pretty sure they’re already removed from ranked. I like the jank in social. If I wanted carbon copied cookie cutter samey maps I’d play another game. Behemoth at least encourages me to engage more with my placement on the map and Launch Site encourages me to track power weapons and equipment. I like that.
