Before you use XP and RP Boosts in WZ Firefight

I used an Ultra Rare: Mission Victory card the other day during a warzone firefight and finished all 5 rounds, thinking I would get a significant RP boost to my score. It was a pretty decisive victory, but when I looked at the post gain stats, I only got the typical 2000RP, and in the boosted sections, there was 0% added. I kept thinking to my ‘What the hell’ several times, as I wasted a good card on what I thought to have been a successive effort to fulfill the conditions to get through all 5 rounds. Is this going on with RP and XP boosts as well?

Thanks for the heads up man. I’m not sure if you have to come first out of your fireteam for the boost to take effect (which kind of defeats the purpose of a casual playlist) or if it doesn’t work at all. If the boost just doesn’t work at all, they should definitely change that.

If you use a mission victory boost in warzone firefight you have to come in 1st place… it is best to only use the regular boost and Jack pots. Save the mission victory type for regular warzone at least then you have better odds of getting it.

this, its technically a free for all style scoring system (just like past firefights) so if you aint first your last… according to the scoring system.

Good HELL! The more I play this stupid game the more I find I dislike it. The changes they have made are pretty much all negative except that they finally made it so that you could grapple ledges… which they did a horrible job with. What happened!? What the hell has happened to our beloved Halo!? :’(

How do you necro this old thread and your post doesn’t even go with the subject of the thread? How does this happen? I just want to know.
