With Serina coming out, I was wondering if anyone figured out any ways to counter her new units and tactics? I know there hasn’t been much time for any detailed strategies to be developed, but I was hoping someone would share anything that they’ve found to work.
Thus far, I’ve only fought against Serina as Shipmaster/Arbiter, and going mass banshee with some locusts and reavers has done the trick.
Against her more than any other leader, it’s crucial to split your forces. When you prevent your army from freezing, she garners very little offensive pressure overall.
Ive been playing Decimus and I think the key is to be aggressive. Ive been using my Warlord and like 14 grunts plus 5 or 6 suicides. Use ur hero to assassinate her ice cream truck then mass infantry and vortex to take care of cryo troopers and frost planes (forgot the name). Then I try to take out a generator on her base, unless its suicide. This has worked alright so far. But micro and what lego said above is very important.
I find you have to focus down the icecream truck because thats the main thing that shatters your units when frozen.
Don’t stand in freeze auras. (ik simple but to many do it)
Move your troops around and make her make mistakes and capitalize on them, she is defensive / support so if you get her out of position you can punish her.
like stated above split up troops so she can’t freeze everything.
Unlike anders in the first game she is pretty weak to air unless she goes wolverines
