Does anyone else think that they should address the hit boxes in Halo 4 before putting SWAT in match making? Check out this video if you don’t know what is wrong with the hit boxes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X5AqZSUOzU4
Thanks for your comments!
That’s called bullet magnetism. Because the reticule is red, it is increased quite a bit.
Nothing to do with the hit boxes.
I stand corrected. Thanks for the info, but no matter. Should it be addressed? And actually if you watched the entire video I believe he shows a demonstration with the sniper rifle. No red reticule: resulted in a head shot.

It’s like it in every Halo game. Aiming would be a hell of a lot harder without it, but I guess it could be toned down a bit.
Regardless, it doesn’t matter too much in the grand scheme of things.
Perhaps not. But it just seems like, compared to other Halos, it is so much easier to land head shots. I know, this isn’t Halo 2 or 3, but still if the reticule isn’t red, it shouldn’t be a clean hit.

In every one of those shots in that video, the reticule was red at the time of firing. If it wasn’t, I can guarantee that he would’ve missed.
The BR shot hit because of the spread.
Not to point out the obvious but doesn’t a red reticule mean the bullet will hit?
Not sure this guy knows what he’s talking about completely in the video. If it is inside the big circle its a hit. The little circle and the bloom denote accuracy. If its red, its a hit. The BR shoots 3 rounds and can hit if it isn’t red because of the spread. I don’t see an issue with this. SWAT is probably going to play out the same regardless.
