If you are reading this you probably have a few questions and want to make a thread to ask it. Now before you go out and make a new topic there is a good chance that it will be covered in this thread. So lets begin.

TRADING

Yes there used to be a trading thread for this but it has been locked for some time due to people getting scammed among other things. So if you are thinking about making a thread asking for a trade or wanting to trade, forget it. It will be locked by a moderator.

What to do if you see a trade thread.

SPECIALIZATION CODES

Specialization codes have been distributed via XBL and E-mail if you have not received them you will have to wait until they are unlocked for everyone else and at this time is currently TBD. For more info please view this post.

If you see anyone asking why they haven’t recieved them please feel free to quote the above explanation.

There are numorus threads on this forum that are just reposts of information that members of Section 3 have found there is no need for this. Now I’m going to be contradicting my last statement but below I will link all current codes that have been found.

SWAT HACKERS

Again there have been numerous threads about these headless Spartans, there is no need to make a thread about it though because calling out players is against forums rules as well. Report them on XBL and move on.

FILESHARE

Fileshare has had issues since launch, 343i is aware of it and they are trying to rectify the problem, there is no need to be repetitive. Below is a quote from the 12.12.12 Halo Bulletin

We utilized something new for this particular Halo 4 feature, and it’s taking us longer than we initially anticipated getting it to a fully functional state. In the meantime, here are the different actions you can take in your in-game Halo 4 File Share:

To begin any type of these threads are unneeded on this forum and will be locked by a moderator for spam/hate. If you see a thread like this report it and move on. Do not empower the trolls.

There is a designated forum for your own creations, they do not belong in the halo 4 forum and will be moved to “Community Creations.”

I made this thread in order to help others before they create a topic in which can easily be covered in a general topic as such, and also to help clean up this forum. If you still have any questions that were not covered in this thread please feel free to PM me or post here.

First, I never said anything about Locking File Share threads I just said they were repetitive/unnecessary because they are currently working to bring the web and in game File Share online. Secondly, 343i blatantly stated that they have finished distributing the spec codes for now, so there is no need to keep asking for them when they will not give you one.

I hope profound constructive critique of the game doesn’t fall under the ‘bashing’ category.

Also, last I checked, even searching individual fileshares wasn’t working.

If it is constructive criticism it isn’t a problem, as long as it doesn’t lead into a flame/spam war, which will usually result in the thread being locked.

Edit: Also that is the issue I was talking about above, that both individual and web File Share will come online sometime in January.

I agree, threads attacking 343 need to cease, they are a prime example of how immature this community has become. I see posts like this in almost every thread I go into and it makes me want to just delete my account off here. If there were more constructive posts instead of spam and 343 hates. Halo 4’s issues would get to 343 a whole lot quicker. I seriously think you should have a Halo 4 or Reach service record to even be allowed to post on these forums.

Firstly, let me address OP and the general administrative elements present on these forums.

I do not believe any organization, company, or overall business can get better by looking at itself from an internal basis only. Certain things can only be learned from outside references and inputs. The fact stands I’ve watched and held solid memories into the positives and negatives concerning how this franchise has been run from the seat of these and other forums and I’ll be blunt: A lot of issues I see on a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis are apparent across the boards when it comes to the consumers who purchase your product(s) and while I don’t agree with a lot of the situations including topic spamming, the opposite side of the coin is there is a better way to handle it and 343 has not done it yet… similarly to how people didn’t adapt to bloom in Reach after two years, 343 has failed to adapt to people’s complaints in the realm of placing an appropriate “OFFICIAL” thread and training all moderators to redirect all issues to said thread.

A lot of the forum issues themselves could have been handled better.

I do not pretend to say a consumer has rights to dictate how things should be run, how it should be managed, and certainly not what should or shouldn’t be involved with a service they pay for, but they are entitled to state their opinions, in any way or format they wish to. This is the internet. A lot of the rules governing this, differing from country to country and state to state, including the terms and conditions is talk at the water fountain at best.

Now to another post: I made your post formatted a little better to read.

Not the best way to start off your post. Understandable that you dislike how much 343 has communicated on these issues, but there’s better ways to get their attention and get a point across.

Firstly, don’t assume you know 343 until you meet them. You have no idea what they consider pointless or care for.

While I can’t speak for 343, I do say I’m sorry you feel that way. Fact is though, this is why Public Relation teams are needed on projects involving the general public.

Sorry to talk about specialisation Codes on this but i entered mine twice and now when i go to view them i can only see Wetwork and Operator, being 3000 odd xp from hitting 50 i would like to know if there is a way to fix this, help would be much appreciated
