Before halo 6 can we please try this one weekend.

Warzone without the req snowball.

Just for a weekend.

I don’t think it would be very hard to implement. Basically instead of having players individually rewarded for playing well, and teams controlling objectives I want to see a global req build across both teams.

Kill/assist medals still progress the req level build for both player and AI kills. But now a total for both teams has to be reached before Both teams simultaneously progressed to the next req level.

Im curious to see how teams would call in reqs, what would be req spammed/ counter spammed.

I think it would add an interesting dynamic. One that’s at least worth trying. It would promote communication too for who reqs the banshee, laser, snipe, etc.

90% of warzone games are not very fun for the losing team after the first 6 minutes. The good teams are still going to win. But that snowball is just too much sometimes. I at least want to try warzone once without it.

But. I would want this tested open to 12 player teams. That is an absolute must, I want to see how req matching and countering would work, if anything just a quick test to see if it’s something worth trying in halo 6.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem very viable that this point in Halo 5’s life. Not to be mean or anything, but I don’t think Warzone won’t cater to your needs specifically because many, many players and companies duke it out on a daily basis.

So, if my squad is at level 5 reqs, but the enemy squad is only at level 3 reqs, I would only be able to use level 3 reqs until they catch up (if they do at all before the game is over)? Or if a total has to be reached for both teams, could it be possible for a squad, by virtue of kills and whatnot, to carry the other squad into higher req levels? In any case, I don’t know how I’d feel if my req usage was basically entirely dependent on how well the other team does.

Think kinda like invasion.

But with reqs.

Is that a double negative?

Duke it out how? 6 team players with 6 randoms thrown in? I think there could be something way better in the warzone world.

Right now the team that wins the first 4-5 minutes. Wins the game. And the game gets progressively more painful for the other team as the clock goes on.

Im just looking for a way to lessen the snowball.

One test I’d like to see is reqs boosting up one level every X second…X could be 60s (req 9 at 9 minutes) or 90s (req 9 at 13:30)

kills with load out weapons would increase the recharge rate of req energy. Kills with reqs would just cause the energy to recharge at the default rate. This might promote some team work plays like I req an answer for a friend and they req an OS or camo. I can use my DMR to get my energy back faster for an OS for myself

It’s not, not, a double negative.

True. lol.

I dunno. Me and my party like to tell each other what we got after each Warzone…

No. Not sharing req packs or req collection.

The req build in game.

Very different things.

The level the game game lets you use level 3,4 reqs etc. Leave that the same for both teams.

OH! That’s what you meant! The REQ levels! okay, that makes more sense. Now your idea sounds really good!

Two negatives equals a positive!

I wanted warzone to just be a 12 v12 or 16v16 big team battle, but instead they opted for this
