Before complaining and overreacting...

Wait a little longer and see some gameplay footage. Let 343 introduce the new additions, like perks and whatever else they added. See how they work. Unfortunately, since they don’t plan on bringing out a beta, we can’t really give them much feedback.

So before you go on ranting about how Halo 4 is too much like CoD, just sit back and see if what’s implemented is good for the game. We’re talking about the game, not the whole Halo series.

They will complain no matter what you say to them. They just need time to cry it out of their system. On the bright side, now’s a good time to hold stock in Kleenex with all the whiners here.

Whiners are pathetic here, look at the things they are complaining about, the whiners probably want a yearly rehash with the same exact carbon copy of either Halo 2 or 3.

Some things warrant this upheaval, others do not.

Since there is no beta, we have to let them know what is bad for gameplay now, when they introduce it.

For example, the rumor that power weapons will be random and no longer timed. This is a problem that warrants people letting 343 know this. Even if this is just a rumor, it had to have come from somewhere, and letting them know now is better than forcing them to figure it out later.

Others, such as these progression perks, we are going to have to wait and see. If they are like killstreaks, then I think that’s a terrible idea and I will let them know that as soon as they are announced. If they’re smaller, such as being able to hold an extra clip of ammo (not SPAWN WITH, just carry) then they might be able to work.

Basically, some things are big and others are not. We have to let them know this NOW because there is no beta.

I wonder if people read the first sentence at the beginning of the trailer that said some things are subject to change and are a work in progress.

Actually, that first sentence is an incentive for exactly this type of discussion. They’re letting us know that these changes are not set in stone, and that we should let them know what we do and do not like.
