Been some months, change back breakout now please?

Hello,
After the summer you introduced breakout 2.0, probally to make the gamemode relevant again. I loved the old breakout and since the change I have hardly played tbh… and I can say the same for some of my old breakout buddies. We accepted the change and after seeing it fail for the most part we kinda assumed that it would get changed back, as this clearly suited the majority. It has been several months now and nothing has changed so I wanted to write this forum to just prop 343 to change it againeven after the main ‘anti-breakout 2.0’ movement has died down, because the old breakout fans are waiting, waiting for the day that our breakout - the real breakout - returns for us to play.
Dont get me wrong, change is welcome… just not what you did.
Change maps, weapons, powerups all you want, but you fundamentally changed what made breakout …breakout… and it is time now I think for you to give us the original fantastic gamemode back… the gamemode that we had a community around… and that you took away.
Please 343, pease change things back in the near future… I think that none of us are angry… but we are sad :frowning:

During the june/july season of breakout me and a mate played so much that we got 1st and 2nd in the UK in breakout on the halotracker leaderboards. This is not because we were the two best players, definately not… but we did sink hours and hours into playing the gamemode… and it was fantastic.
Anyone who will help us get the gamemode back to its roots is an amazing person and is much appreciated. Please help us get back what we lost…

There should be a Classic Breakout and Breakout 2.0 in the Ranked Playlists. I would love that, because I like both Breakout variants.

I also miss og Breakout. Breakout 2.0 took the Breakout out of Breakout.

Thats a fantastic idea, that wound ensure that nobody is upset and it would give us the classic breakout back :slight_smile:

Maybe have Breakout 2.0 in Social and have the OG Breakout in Ranked?

That may be a way to satisfy both sides.

Even better, I want ranked for OG breakout definately… Its what made the gmemode so fun… And unranked might make the new breakout better… Somehow.
