Then the system is going to eventually bleed players to just hardcore fans.
Edit: Hardcore fans that want to play dress up.

“True Warrior” is nonsense. We’re not here to be warriors, we’re here to play a game. If a game offers the players all that we were led to believe and more, it is a quality product. If it doesn’t, then it’s not. That’s all there is to it.
People are simply mad at one thing and one thing only : Halo Infinite just isn’t delivering what it has led the player to believe is to be delivered. From customizations, to networking issues, to poor optimization, to bad user experience; all of it.
Speak for yourself, civilian
Throw around your little fancy retorts all you want but Halo Infinite is undeniably the least fun Halo to come out of 343 due to a culmination of various factors. And all you can come up with is “True Warriors don’t need X”
There is so much more wrong including networking and gameplay balance that your “True Warriors” retort falls flat on its face and any who subscribe to it are so far gone in copium that they are allowing Halo Infinite to just exist as a poor product.
For the love of god Desync is still in the game and even worse in S2 than S1, and not to mention the poor PC optimization is still there despite them claiming to have patched it up. And not to mention the global melee nerf, while marginally, altered gameplay feel for many weapons now that it takes more shots to put someone into melee kill range.
“True Warriors” lmao
I understand a warrior’s honor
You only understand playing dress up and fashion
We
Are
Not
The
Same
Exactly why I reacted Missed The Point. You don’t understand what I’m talking about at all. I’m more worried about Halo Infinite as a whole experience, including gameplay, customization, challenges, progression.
All you care about is your subscribed notion of “honor” and “warrior” to not see that a product isn’t valued simply based off one aspect, an aspect I might add is certainly inferior by all means when compared to a 12 year old title which can still be played today.
That’s why I scoff your ridiculous “warrior’s honor”. You’re an absolute joke who can’t see that a product’s value and lifespan is affected by all it encompasses, not just one aspect of it.
Why do you think H5, despite having a nice MP, was still agreed on to be a terrible Halo? Why, because it is a terrible Halo which threw away its Campaign and Narrative as well as traditional Halo gameplay for a generic Scifi shooter MP.
True warriors don’t awkwardly flex via weird roleplay on video game forums.
Curious irony, civilian
My father trained me to be a true warrior, like his father before him.
You cannot understand until you have experienced The Way.
I bet your father also told you that True Spartans from ancient greece also oiled their bodies before combat as well as kept their hair long and styled them occasionally.
Yes. Of course. So you do know our culture?
Oiling my brethren is The Way.
This forum is in dire need of a Cringe reaction. Like from the campaign when The Weapon cringes during a cutscene.
Edit: Also, I just can’t handle your posts. I’ve got a high tolerance for cringe but this is too much. Either you’re being unironic, or you’re just face planting with cringe jokes. But I gotta set your posts to ignore.
Imagine thinking
That I care
I wish weeklies didn’t expire until the end of the season and just kinda got banked like the battle passes do. Maybe this is only an option for people who do buy the battle pass rather than for free players too since 343 does need to make money. But to me it would greatly help the game feeling light on content if I knew I could take a break and come back and have a few weekly rewards I could still grind for rather than feeling like I need to rush and complete what I want each week.
I completed the weekly, and the event in two days… I work 12 hours a day, so……
Lmao you’re definitely showing your age.
I finally finished mine last night just in time. I had to use a handful of challenge swaps because some things were just ridiculous to try and pull off. There shouldn’t be challenges related to certain game types that are hard to find while searching, or near impossible to use for getting kills weapons like the pulse carbine. I wanted to bang my head into the desk more than once
Yes, I am showing the Age of the Warrior
That’s well and good, but you have to remember that everyone has different challenges and in different orders. You had energy sword kills, I had skewer kills. And some people had a bunch of melee challenges they could stack and others had a wide variety that could only be completed one at a time. Also a challenge that’s easy for one person may be very hard for another. I can’t snipe for crap, but someone else can do it in their sleep. And don’t even get me started on those RNG gamemode challenges.
tl;dr Challenges absolutely can be completed in a day or two (I’ve done it a few times), but it’s also very possible that you can’t complete quickly because of an unlucky roll.
EDIT: And as for moving out of your comfort zone, MCC does this too. Each week it has a challenge to win 2 ranked matches. I and many players don’t enjoy ranked, so I don’t usually do that challenge. However, I can choose to do it for an extra season point. But if I don’t do it, I’m not punished by missing out on some item, I can just try again next week.
Basically MCC allows you to partially progress toward a goal by doing some challenges whenever you have time.
Infinite only allows you to progress completely toward a goal by doing all challenges in a week.
The challenge system is its own game, really. I don’t complete many challenges through playing how I normally would. I have to go out of my way to focus on challenges if I want to progress; it doesn’t really make sense.
The MCC has a better system, by far.
For the sake of information I’m going to share my weekly challenge progress, just to see what it looks like.
