Been gone for a while. Are AA's making a return?

Hey guys. I recently saw the new vidoc for halo 4 and it rekindled my spirit for halo. One reason I haven’t played reach for about 8 months is the armor abilities. Are they making a return for H4 or is 343 unsure of the future of AA’s? I saw a player jetpack in the vid and I was not happy at all. Thanks

There WAS sprint in the trailer.
We don’t know HOW the sprint works, or if it will be included in anything other than custom options, however.

No-one knows for sure. Stick around and you’ll know.

Sprint’s the only thing confirmed, but even then the trailer specifically said work in progress so there’s no guarantee it’ll be in the full game.

Chief had an AA module on his back in one of the frames from the video.

Yes, they are returning…For better or worse.

CoD is returning haunting Halo in many aspects, much of them are speculating but some don’t.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it’s worse than you think.

Power weapons spawn randomly, so map control is utterly useless because you can’t keep track of the timers.

Power weapons have indicators over them so that it tells you where they are on the map (until it is used). Like we didn’t need any more hand holding (sarcasm)

AA’s are back, because they were terrific in Reach (sarcasm)

Sprint is back. Looks built in. All I have to say about this is why does Halo need to have it? Just because all the other modern shooters have it we need to have it too? Why can’t we be different. Although, Sprint is the best of the worst.

Armor changes how you play and loadouts are customization.

Indeed. They could be totally revamped.

Spawn time’s random, not the location.

If any of this is true then I just saved myself at least $60

Power weapons spawn randomly in ONE game type that is yet to be announced. Same with the indicators.

AA’s are not back, the only evidence they are is chief has one. Hate to break the news to you but Campaign=/=MM

Halo needs sprint because Halo is slowest damn shooter on the market. Sprint makes it faster. Crybaby.

Two things to consider before you rage and quit like a baby:

  1. HALO 4 IS A WORK IN PROGRESS, ANY AND ALL ASSETS AND FEATURES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE.

  2. Halo has dozens of gametypes, game modes, and playlists. To assume every feature will be entirely game wide is just idiotic.

It’s all assumptions relax.

no one is crying, people are just saving their money thats all. Halo doesn’t need a sprint button. Every other shooter has one but that doesn’t mean halo does. I’m done with forums because developers try to make you think like they read them but in the end, they will just do what they want. Tons of people leave halo because of reach and there are tons threads on getting rid of AA’s, BUT 343 still wants sprint and jetpack back.
