It really grinds my gears when someone sticks me with a plasma grenade in the middle of a 1 on1 gunfight. Am I alone in this? What do you think about this tactic?

I like that tactic, obviously because its cheap and easy. However, it’s get annoying when other people do it to me… And yes, stickies have too much magnetism…
its a suicide tactic to some people. it usually happens to me after 2 shots landing the player usually freaks out and throws all of thier nades at me hoping to get a stick before they die, and the magnet stickies usually stick me aswell. i just think spawning with 2 plasmas is rediculous

OT: Its annoying but I prefer to keep my distance between me and my pray, I think their magnetism should be lowered, I do feel as if they “follow me”.
It wouldn’t be so annoying or cheap if Plasma Grenades weren’t something you spawned with.
It’s a smart tactic, only abused by the fact that it’s not something that you need to look for on the map anymore. You can just suicide-stick someone and you’ve re-spawned with 2 more (In gametypes that allow Personal Loadouts). Makes CQC unbearable sometimes.
I just shoot the grenade as soon as it leaves their hand, and the resulting explosion kills them. Proven tactic.
I’m in the top ten in the world for pulse grenade kills.
not once have I been called a -Yoink- for suicide pulse grenade kills. they are as easy to get as plasma sticks

I love how many topics there are about this - i am in full support. I know nothing will be done in this game but damn it was such a bad decision to pi stickies into loadouts.
Its so cheap. When one player places better shots the kill should not be nullified by everyone getting 2-3 last-ditch-free-kill-noob-friendly-blue-orbs-of-death.
Stickies (and camo) are one of the many reasons Halo 4 is not a true competitive game and the skill gap is far less than past Halo games.

Pulse grenades actually take the most skill I think, chucking a highly magnetic sticky barely takes aim. Whats worse is it encourages poorly skilled players to just run around the map spewing them left and right because its so easy.

It feels satisfying, but I choose not to do it, Frags and Pulse Grenades all the way! I would say make you spawn with one sticky and two pulses
I think it’s a funny sight when some person runs up to you, sticks you, and that blue light appears on your HUD before you die.
It’s honestly pretty funny and slightly obnoxious.

I agree that it is a smart tactic, and I also agree that being spawned with them having the intent of using them as a last ditch effort (sometimes first ditch) is very cheap. Oh well, I’ll just laugh at it from now on.
