hey everyone, im Just a regular halo 5 enjoyer and ive spent alot off time getting cool clips that ive uploaded from my xbox to my pc and edited videos there, im a experiensed youtubeer but since ive recently started doing halo videos but my content is realy good ive been told. This has taken alot of my time and im really disapointed by how hard it was to grow, since my subs is there from othergames. So im really desperate after reaching people that find halo videos interesting! but im struggling since there is so many big youtubers that has taken the entire fanbase. So im making this thread for me and other underdogs, feel free to share your channel
I’ll just say that if your goal is to become a “really good Halo 5 YouTuber,” you’re likely going to experience some difficulty. Focus on making quality content and building relationships with various communities (and not for the sake of promoting your work, but simply for making connections and friends). It simply takes a really, really long time to build a fan base.
There are other ways to build a following, such as social media integration and branding tips and optimizing content, but that all comes later. Focus on the basics first, and find content makers that are willing to give advice and examples of what they’re successful doing.
I see a lot of new Youtuubers doing the same stuff as the big Youtubers. You have to have your own unique angle to differentiate yourself from them. That’s how you seperate yourself and get some of their fanbase to check out your work. Start your own community of sorts.

yeah, thats what im doing, or atleast trying to do! since im focusing on making good quality content and also trying to do something uncommon ty for good a good reply!
Its similar to doing a podcast or a streamer on twitch.
We have done our show for over 5 years and are finally just now starting to get some recognition from 343 and sponsors. It takes a long time. My advice is do something you love and that your passionate about. The fanbase will eventually come as long as the content is good. Usually good content stems from something your passionate about.

This, so much. It’s infectious and people pick up on it. Plus, it’s easier to commit the time when you’re passionate about it.

> You don’t have to be incredibly “skilled” in a game to become a great youtuber. A great youtuber would do something unique and not many would do.

Halo is not a YouTube game. It’s a good streaming game, but awful for YouTube videos. This is only because it’s so slow compared to most games today, you can’t get over a hundred kills in a halo game like you can in call of duty.
Well OP, having checked out your channel and the video you linked, here’s what i truely CAN say:
You’ve uploaded ONE Halo video from a week ago. To me it seems you were expecting the subs to come rushing in after that?
Now, as a content maker, you need to give people something completely ORIGINAL! That’s how you get the big success. Now i checked out more of your stuff and i really only say this as supportive criticism but mate? Your content is FAR from that unique. The Halo montage video is more or less like any other i could find out there, even tho it truely was some good moments in there!
The BLOPS videos… Well let’s face it, there’s so many CoD Youtuber out there, that the sheer number of them, could fill up Grand Canyon. There’s just nothing special about a CoD Youtuber, unless you’re that Ali kid or DalekJD for example.
Besides, most guys with the big success, have been at it for YEARS before they got their breakthrough. If you aim to be a Halo content creator, you need to lower expectations a bit and work on content, that seems like it stands out and has entertainment value. Montages are so easy to come by, that they’re practically not worth a sub these days. Greenskull, ISpiteful and Ultimate Halo? They are delivering some Grade A content and people enjoy them, for their personalities and engagement with their fans, that’s why they’re populare.
Regardless, there is potential but you should not feel frustrated over a lesser amount of subscribtions, since being a Youtuber isn’t about numbers but rather you getting to express your creative side and share with the world, what you can do with your abilities.
Hope it gave some insight mate and best of luck with your channel!
