Mode: wz Assault
Playing several games in a row.
Where it’s obvious the enemies are a fireteam.
Obvious signs of communication.
(Avoiding danger before actually seeing or knowing about it, because teamates told you)
Someone who walks right past you turns around when someone else sees you.
Never on radar, never moved or shot.
Enemies rushing one side of the core constantly, 2 kills with a power weapon.
People instantly stop using that side.
(And many more)
Obvious strategy.
When you’ve played thousands of games on the same map.
You know the typical flow of players, where they should be. (Usually)
But then with obvious fireteams, they attack from areas not usually attacked.
or…Gather some people and play as a fireteam. Everyone who plays solo always suggest that Teams are the problem and if I play solo I shouldn’t play teams. Instead of punishing people who play a TEAM game as a TEAM we should make it easier for people who don’t know others who play Halo, to group up and create a fireteam on the fly.
Halo is a team-based game. Don’t complain about teams just because you solo queue.
I solo queue all the time in ranked and warzone.

Playing on a team is fine, but it’s the matching system that’s the problem. If H5 had some type of party restrictions since launch and a better skill matching system, these problems would be less frequent.

The issue is Halo encourages team play. If you stop teams from matching solo players you don’t get a team aspect which is how you win these matches. The skill matching system is not to blame as it’s based on average MMR to match players. This is common across all competitive video games

Maybe you should play ranked to understand better. Try it and you’ll see what fireteams is all about

Halo teams used to be partial teams.
3-5 friends playing together.
Not a full fireteam of top scoreboard players vs a bunch of average players, some noobs, and a couple good players.
(12 onyx vs 3 onyx 5 silver/gold 4 bronze/silver)

Or the solo player base is almost gone.
And TEAMS are all that’s left.
Teams don’t aways want to play what I do.
So if I don’t want to play what they are I’m solo again.

‘You don’t get a team aspect.’ Huh? You can get a team aspect with solo players playing as a team even if they aren’t communicating (sometimes they do) and parties vs parties is obviously a team aspect. Party restrictions doesn’t even need to be just parties vs parties either which is why I didn’t mention that specifically. My skill matching comment was mainly referring to social when facing a party since it currently doesn’t seem to take that into account with skill levels. Yes, I know all the ‘it’s social’ reasons.
There’s also a difference between encouraging team play and not being able to solo queue in a playlist. 343 allows both parties and solo players to play in their playlists (besides FFA, Warlords) and they should be trying to accommodate both of them so they both have the best experience possible.

This is not comparible as Halo has never had a 12v12 game mode before. We’ve had 8v8 but not any higher. A lot of onyx players actually prefer to play Social but when they play warzone they don’t seem to like completely destroying kids.
My question is, how do you know where you are classed there? You have not ranked in arena at all.

Ah, I see what you mean. My comment was poorly worded. While it is true that you may get the team aspect from solo players it doesn’t happen as much as a lot of solo warzone players just run in guns blazing with no regard for strategy at all. Even without communication it is possible to make a strategy. Game chat has always been a think but from the very few WZ games I played it seems as though people mostly just sit in parties to talk to friends. Not to say that I don’t do it but my friends and I mostly play in a small team.
You get a team aspect better from a fireteam because the communication is there, always. If you separate fireteams and solo players then you stop encouraging the solo players to work together. It all come down to whether the solo players want to work together to win, or learn to work together by losing.

I do this all the time because if you focus to much on winning and losing the game, it can boring to play, or you just get frustrated, imo. Though there is nothing wrong with being competitive and pushing yourself, just trying to have fun is the important thing.

I’m not so sure we are a team, as people staying in the same hotel are a “team.” I sympathize with the guy, why should you get penalized and punished because you decided to play solo? Would it hurt the team orientated…teams to play in fireteam only matches? The word “fire team” should be synonymous with the word “forced.”

I don’t see how having teams fight priority match other teams be considered unfair.
I’ve played 24 -Yoinking!- days in Halo 5’s multiplayer.
90% of that time is solo queue.
I lose a lot. So -Yoinking!- what. Who, cares.
Play to the best of your ability. Winning isn’t everything. You can still lose and go 25-0.
Like others have said, play with a team if you have such a problem with it. Playing against teams doesn’t automatically make the game less fun. The game becomes less fun only if you make it that way for yourself. I can go 0-50 against an arranged team and still have fun. Do some sick warthog jumps, -Yoink!- the one enemy you manage to kill, hide in a corner and assassinate as many guys as you can, honk your horn and recruit some guys to get some Road Trip medals, do SOMETHING. Have fun, don’t try to make it competitive if you know you’re going to be destroyed in the first place (or try to do that, if that’s fun to you).
Point being, just because you’re getting your butt drilled doesn’t mean you can’t make it fun for yourself.
