You tried the community found bugfix to get the challenge working? Also are you using the proper technique to successfully perform the assassination? This is the bugfix tutorial : BUGFIX . This is the technique tutorial: TUTORIAL . Follow these two videos and you should be able to get this. I was one of those people who couldn’t get this challenge done, and needed to use the bugfix linked above to get this challenge working. After that I got it on my 5th attempt. Pretty much everyone I’ve seen talking about this challenge got it fixed and completed with the video tutorials listed above.

Legendary

Solo
Run, jump, assassinate.
I got it very quickly, I’ve had all the seasonal challenges for ages, I want the new ones.
Even if you miss it, it will show up in the exchange at some point.
I switched it up after trying for a good 30 mins on Legendary.
Tried it on Heroic and got it after my second successful attempt.
I just ran off the cliff, crouched while in the air, melee an Elite Officer and I got it.

If it has bugged for you 343 published a workaround guide on the Support Site: https://support.halowaypoint.com/hc/en-us/articles/360056553131-Workaround-for-issues-unlocking-the-Because-You-Begged-seasonal-challenge-in-Halo-The-Master-Chief-CollectionI can confirm this works although I didn’t follow it to the letter as I skipped the bit about deleting in the cloud, cancelled the sync process when I went back into the game, did the challenge, closed the game, then reopened and let it sync back so i didn’t even lose anything to get it to work.

For anyone else needing a solution. I can confirm this has just worked for me. Granted deleting saved data is a slight inconvenience but the challenge has been completed finally.

Hey,
After tryharding for five hours, back at the beginning of Season 5, I just put down my controller and went to sleep.
When I woke up, I thought “well, maybe PC version’s bugged” and I launched Xbox One version to see if something would change.
After a few tries I got it.
I am not sure if you may get anymore chances to get the helmet on Xbox One, but if you do have both the Xbox One and PC versions, then try it out on everything.
You never know.
