Okay so I performed the assassination on that one elite at the beginning of pillar of autumn maybe 5 times where you jump off the cliff and assassinate him as you fall and the challenge still hasn’t unlocked for me, I made sure it was on heroic and in the campaign.
The challenge itself is actually working fine, but there was an issue identified where the challenge wouldn’t unlock for some users under certain circumstances. If at some point you have tried to do the assassination before the challenge went live, it’s possible you have already flipped the flag that the challenge looks for. It uses the same flag as the original achievement. Although the achievement isn’t present in the game, the flag for it still is. There is a workaround that can be followed involving clearing some data and will allow you to complete the challenge. There’s nothing to fix here OP, as I mentioned. The challenge itself works just as it should, the fix is deleting your cloud save and then running it again. Those who I have help with this in the past have gotten it after a few tries once doing that. If you’re still having trouble, check out some YouTube tutorials as it requires a little precision to land correctly
no offense, but I feel as though a challenge not working for people and forcing them to delete files isn’t a “nothing needs to be fixed” scenario, but thanks anyways
I did everything as you told me, and the challenge still doesn’t unlock
I’m no game dev, but I don’t think having a limited-time challenge that doesn’t work and refuse to fix it is a good idea.
I have the same issue, is there another way to get it rather than deleting my progress?

I’ve followed all the guides and techniques to the letter multiple times, have deleted my saved cloud data multiple times and have killed that dang elite multiple times in a row and the challenge has still not unlocked. Something is obviously very broken since other people are also still not unlocking it after following the guide to delete saved cloud data
