Well, this is a question that I have, why can’t I comment on publications in any language other than English? It seems quite strange to me and I do not have an answer. Some moderators have blocked me one or two posts for not being in English and they tell me that it is because they do not have a translation service, but I do not know if it is really because of that. Can we ever post in Spanish? This is a small doubt that I have is that I am something new in Halowaypoint.
If the moderators say that it’s due to a lack of translators then I’m sure that’s the reason and I doubt they would lie. A large majority of the Halo community are english speaking or understand english regardless of where in the world they are from. That’s why these forums are predominantly english. With regards to if you’ll ever be able to post in spanish only they can answer that. Maybe in the future they will make a forum specifically for Spanish. But if they did other people of different languages may want the same and trying to get translators for the many languages out there would be extremely challenging compared to just making it plain English. (sorry for long reply, I tried to be as sensible and respectful as possible)
Oh thank you very much it is just a question that I had for me it is not much problem to comment and publish in English but if I would like to be able to comment in my native language
It’s because we are not currently equipped to provide moderation in other languages, so we must ask that all messages be posted in English. if you need to you are welcome to use an online language translation service, and then create a new thread or edit your post with the translated text. This may change in future, but for the moment this is an English only forum I’m afraid.
