I finally became the highest rank in Halo 4 (well, until the 1-50 ranks come out) and I am very happy I don’t have to keep ranking up. I know that SR 130 isn’t a big deal to too many people, but I just wanted to post this because I AM SUPER HAPPY! What’s also funny, is that I still haven’t stopped loving Halo 4. Just like I kept playing Halo: Reach after Inheritor, so I will do the same in Halo 4. Anyone else made it to 130 or plan to keep playing Halo 4 after they become one?
Good for you I guess.
Congratz since my xbox live expired im currently on sr 74 Lol
The only reason I stopped playing Halo 4 was because I have other games to play since I bought 2 humble bundles.
I also hit 130 yesterday. was an extreme disappointment. I lost the ctf game 3-1. I went something like 27-4 with the only flag cap on our team. how the hell do I get max rank loosing to a bunch of below average players?

I’m sorry to hear that, but did you happen to be playing with randoms? They are often the reason players lose their matches. Trust me on that.
SR is not a rank…its a level, obtain via collection of XP earned from Spartan Ops, Wargames play, challenges and Commendations
SR is a reflection of time played more then its skill, you earn XP for all you, nothing wrong in that, if you have enjoyed the game enough to reach max levelling up already then enjoy that accomplishment
Unless you have been boosting your Levelling up with constant double XP usage, reaching SR130 for all the XP required to do that in just under 3 months of the games release is still something to be pleased of

Rank and Level are the same thing…

No no they are not rank implies you actually earned it. Level is you just grinded and played the game enough.
On topic im stuck on sr 27 i think it is woooo.
Congratz and I can understand the feeling. After miserable experiences in H3 and Reach multiplayer, having a 1.00 k/d in slayer was a huge deal for me. Like you, its probably not a big deal to most, but personally it was a huge personal accomplishment.
I’m not big on the levels at the moment, they will come eventually, I’ve been more commendation oriented opting to pursue the UNSC weapons mastery (I like the spartan pose award, its not as cheesy as the others).

I’ve never become a very high rank in Halo before, but right now I’m at SR 109, thanks to lots of time playing with Double XP on Spartan Ops
I just want to level up because my gamer card makes me “stand out” from other players in the lobby and I have access to more armor and tactical packages/support upgrades.
And then I can freely move on to play other video-games, achievement hunt, go for Commendations, and do other things with my life.

Nope, pretty sure they’re the same thing on this game.

Oh yea for this game for sure they are the same thing. But most of the time there is a distinct difference between them.
