They should be made static, the current dynamic setup is terrible for the flow of the map. It’s literally spawn, throw your grenade, die, repeat. There is no reason to the way this map flows, as it simply doesn’t. You can have one team have perfect control of a map, and still the other team will spawn behind them at random times due to the annoying dynamic spawning system. I can’t count the number of times I’ve had 2-4 players on another team spawn 3 feet in front of me, right next to my base, while I have almost no shields from the last encounter I just had fighting the guy who came through the teleporter. Static spawns are needed on this map more than any other on the maps.
It’s a shame too, because other than that, the map is fine. However, the spawns are so bad it makes me want to just quit out right at the beginning of a game when it’s selected. Overall, the CEA maps are actually good, so it’s sad to see a tarnish such as this occur to them.
The spawns work like they always have. Stop being special or tell your teammates to stop being special and hold the top of one side to force the other teams spawn.

Problem is, on a map with dynamic spawns, that doesn’t work. I’ve had at least 10 times when I’ve had perfect control of the rock ledge, one teammate was on our sniper, another on their sniper, and one on top of our base. The other team still swapped spawns between our base and their base. Dynamic spawns never work. And in CE, the frag grenade fuse time was at least long enough to deal with having them thrown at you every 5 seconds.
I would kind of agree. The spawns do kind of suck. it’s just spawn, kill one then die. But it really is all about control over the map, and beaver creek is WAY too easy to take control of.
a map as small as battle cre … sorry, beaver creek needs dynamic spawning because using static spawning will result in none stop spawn killing because of they extremely limiting set up available due to how the map is designed, with dynamic spawning players are less likely to spawn in extremely compromising positions and instead can actually spawn in safer area’s allowing them move around the map more consistently though the options are extremely limiting, this also puts a bigger emphasizes on advanced cam… sorry, “map control”.

Your somewhat right. But if you’d like, you could make your own variant of Battle Canyon with your own spawning system. If you’re interested in doing that, you can hook me up any time and we’ll forge.

There’s no map control on a map with dynamic spawns. Especially on a small map with the 3SK pistol, which is why static spawns are needed even more. Dynamic spawns terrible, and whomever advocates for them likely posses a very limited brain capacity. There’s no thought to the way that map moves.

whats wrong with dynamic spawns?
the work well and from what i’ve seen, tend to provide a more competitive experience, also, because of how beaver creek is designed it makes it extremely easy to set up a spawn trap even on dynamic spawning.

You don’t set up spawn traps with dynamic spawning, because you can’t. Remember default Narrows in Halo 3, it had dynamic spawns. That’s why your team could be perfectly placed on Top Mid, and the other team would randomly spawn in your base.
