Alright so you guys saw the beaver/battle creek portion of the map they made on that forge map for ign?

Wouldnt surprise me if theyve made quite a few maps in forge that are remakes and are going to be in the game tbh 
Yeah I thought the same thing until someone pointed out to me that their isn’t a basement. Since the base was build on the water it wouldn’t have space for it. Still can see some form of Beaver Creek in the MP though.
It can’t really be 100% remade, as like people said, you can’t build the basement, though it could be elevated and have a dried-out creek bed. Maybe throw a dinky quote in the description “The creek is gone, but the battle rages on.”
We will have to see the other two forge maps to be certain as to what can be remade properly.
Also that beaver creek looked a bit shoddy anyways. Would be better to wait for a dedicated build from a true forger before we see it put into mm.
I honestly disagree. I hated playing halo reach and halo 4 because all the playlists were forge maps. I like\loved some of them but i dont want to play a forge map every single time i launch some team slayer.

Finally a fellow brother that likes to play actual halo maps. REJOICE
To solve the basement issue, I guess you could forge a version with a dried out creek as others have suggested. Call it Barren Creek.
You could also modify the bases, though I don’t know how fans would feel about this. Maybe make the bases higher and add some ramps up into them.
Forge maps could be good now that there is more asset variety. The problem of Reach and 4 was how there was mostly only one asset to build everything, thus making every map feel the same.
It would be cool to see some well done H2 Maps remade and put into MM, but only if done really well and still give that old, signature feeling.
The MCC version of forge has a lot of potential to make some future staple maps. However, I do think it’s dangerous to just start throwing them in MM left and right.
this is what I am hoping to see. I good 12-20 new forge maps put in map rotation. That would be excellent.

I would argue that forge maps can be a good thing depending on how bad the maps on-disc are.
Because we all loved Complex, right?
OT: I think it was only a aesthetic remake, not a remake for matchmaking, would be nice if someone made one though.

I dont mind playing forge maps, as long as the forge maps are good maps, i hate when they put like 10 forge maps in tho. Pick 2 or 3. Not a million.
It kind of angers me when people say they hate forge maps. Have you seen Halo 2As forge? The You can make great maps.
