So I am 1 mission away from beating the campaign on legendary. I played through Co-op mode and all I need is 1 more mission to beat. I never beat the missions in solo legendary difficulty. My question is, can I just go ahead and play the last mission that I need to beat solo? I’m thinking that you have to beat campaign on FULL Solo or FULL Co-op to get the achievement.
No. I did that and it did not count. I had to get a friend in with me for it to count. Not sure why…
So… Yes you have to play the full thing on Solo or Coop
You just need to complete every level on Legendary Solo or Coop. It does not have to be a full solo run or a full coop run to unlock the armor and visor.

^ It did on mine. I had all but the last one done Legendary Coop. So i did the last level Solo Legendary and it didn’t give me the achievement or armor. Had to finish on Coop.
It shouldn’t matter - at least, it never did in the other games. Give it a shot and see what happens.

I edited my post seconds before you responded. I didn’t see that he was talking about the achievement and I don’t know if you get it or not, so I’ll take your word for it.
I know for a fact that you get the armor though. Me and a friend played through just like you and your friend did, up until the last level. He solo’d it and got the armor.
I just beat the whole thing while on split screen and didn’t get the commendations, but I did get the achievements. So no Mark VI armor? Anyone know what to do about that? I’m already a little sick of the campaign and don’t feel like doing it again, lol.
it popped for me too with one solo, rest coop, just watching the creds now after beating solo leg

A common bug. Were you offline while doing them? Also, you’ll have to replay the levels that didn’t count.

It works split screen if you’re connected to Live. You absolutely must be connected to Xbox Live the entire time in order to get the commendations. Annoying, I know…
It doesn’t mean split screen is the problem, it just means you must still be logged in in the background.

Yea, I’m also going for the armor.
So doing legendary in FULL Solo or Co-op gets you the achievement and Legendary in solo & co-op gets you the armor?

I can’t answer the part about the achievement, but yes to the second part. You just have to beat every level on Legendary. It doesn’t matter if you do some Solo and the rest Co-Op.
I completed the Leg compaign on coop but it didnt give me any of the armor! and my service record says that i havent completed it on leg when my achievements tell me i did! some plz help!
