So, I beat Halo 4 (offline) on solo Legendary, and I didn’t get my Mark VI armor. Alright let me put this straight do I really have to replay the whole campaign and put in another 6+ hours just to get this armor?! I know people have complained about this in the past but was there ever a fix? On my mission selection it says I beat all the campaign levels on legendary and I have the achievements so obviously it’s recording it somewhere so why don’t I have my armor?!

The armor is tied to commendations. You have to be online to get commendations.

there are no commendations in Halo 4 for campaign and yes the armour should have been connected to the ACHIEVEMENT, not any commendation.

There are, they’re under Player commendations.
Yes, it would’ve been better for offline players if the armor was connected to the achievement, even though all the armors in-game are connected to commendations, player level, or Section 3 codes.
I think you simply have to be online to get it.
Easier way is to play with 3 friends co-op campaign on legendary , you dont have to do it solo in order to get it.
or well maybe if you connect to xbox live you might get the armour… i dont know really.

these guys are right the Commendations are only unlocked online the Campaign commendations require a active connection to Xbox Live these Commendations are listed under Player > Campaign.
Each one must be completed while online or you wont get the Commendation complete.
However the Commendation does not state that it needs to be dont on Solo so you might be able to do it CO-OP a group of 3-4 can blitz a level in no time at all

Yes there are, they just don’t net any xp. go to commendations>player>campaign
You need all the campaign commendations for the armour

The commendations are just for completing the missions on legendary, it doesn’t matter if you do it solo or with friends.
So no, you don’t have to do it solo to complete the commendations, only the achievement to do it solo.
