Has anyone had the hit and miss with the beam rifle. Headshots sometimes just flicker the shield and eventually takes 3 shots to kill if your second shot doesn’t hit the head. This only seems to happen to me with the beam rifle.
Usually if I land a headshot it kills with 1. Lag certainly screws me over sometimes… But if you don’t hit the head, it takes at least 1 more shot
Maybe it’s the upgraded shields? I know they don’t affect the sniper rifle but maybe they affect the beam rifle.
I ran into that on a few matches, wasn’t sure if it was lag or upgraded shields. usually I never have an issue.
Maybe you’re using the one that has decreased damage. I hate beam rifles so much.
In my Halo 4 days with it; half the time I couldn’t even land a headshot with the Beam Rifle scoped in, but no problem when it came to the snapshots. But I’m having more luck with scoped-in headshots with the Beam Rifle in this game than 4.
And that’s why I hate unbalanced matches of Warzone
