will the beam rifle be back in halo 4 ?
Nobody knows yet, but I’m willing to bet that it will return.
I heard the only guns in Halo 4 will be the BR, AR, DMR, Sniper, Rockets, and Pistol.

Those are just some of the guns that are returning. I would put my money on a couple more coming back and then a few more new guns being added to the sandbox.

A Beam Rifle that would function like the Locust’s cannon from halo wars would be cool.

I love the focus rifle, but it could use a bit of a buff. Killing in about a quarter second sooner would make the Focus rifle a true power weapon. It’s still pretty damn good in its present state.
Destroy all traces of the focus rifle!!! LONG LIVE THE BEAM RIFLE!

Agreed, the Focus Rifle is a great weapon if you can use it properly. It functions well anywhere between medium to extreme range, something which can’t be said for the Sniper Rifle.
A quarter second seems rather quick to kill though, though a second and a half (what it’s at now) is somewhat long. I’d say a second to a second and a quarter would be great.

No but an honest to god version, maybe with an overdrive feature as well, it would be very powerful but it would drain your sheilds and use up a ton of battery.
As for a Beam rifle beam rifle, I would have to say no, I have always hated the style of the weapon, it wasnt very ergonomic in design when compared to the Focus rifle(Plus the focus rifle look cooler in my opinion).

I meant a quarter second sooner than it does currently.

Wrong. Elitists rather not have the AR I believe.
I’d say we’ll have a larger arsenal in Halo 4 than any other Halo game as said by 343i in the past. I’d say the beam rifle or something like it will make it into the game.
