I just got the Halo 2 Beam Rifle Delta Certification, and I have quite a nest egg of Krith’s left hands (like 16). Which one should I use? Which is better?
The Delta is a guaranteed kill if you someone anywhere on the body, much like the Nornfang. Krith’s Left Hand is still potent, though you have to aim around the torso to compensate for the triple burst and recoil.
Delta no doubt… Not to mention it’s more fun to use. One of my favorites to use.
Delta due to it being a one shot, and it has a gravitational AOE…and well nostalgia.
I do like Krith’s left Hand though it looks pretty lol.
I don’t like the Krith sniper because of all the recoil.
I prefer Delta over Krith.
Delta is more versatile. I only use Krith’s for bosses if at all.
As everyone has already said, use the delta. I don’t even know what the Krith is good for.

The Krith’s Left Hand is weird for me. I use to be able to peel faces with that thing all day every day, but at some point it felt like it must have gotten toned down or something. I was suddenly having a hard time hitting head shots with it. It felt like I’d hit them and it wouldn’t even break their shields. It doesn’t feel like it hits head shots nearly as easily as it used to. I don’t know what it is.
I’d have to go with the Delta for this reason. Hit them anywhere, they die. Way easier weapon to use for 7 REQs.
Delta it is then! Now I just have to open like 30 more gold packs to get a reasonable supply.
Delta by far is more superior. Keith Left hand has that recoil to it. Though it still is powerful to use.
I never used the Delta but hearing from it Delta seems better to use the the Krith.
It really depends on what you’re going for, as well as personal ability and preference. I found the Krith’s Left Hand to be more user-friendly when it comes to lining up head shots. However, the Halo 2 Beam Rifle Delta wins in pure power, as it can take out a standard Wraith in three shots (I have been both on the delivering and receiving end of this, so I’d rather not be called a liar).
The Beam Rifle Delta is far superior IMO.
The delta is so much better than Krith.
Krith’s is pretty poor, IMO. I’d prefer an H2 Alpha or Sword Of The Faithful over Krith’s, plus they’re cheaper. The delta is quite good (actually it’s really good at taking down banshees and phaetons), but doesn’t have quite enough ammo (wish it had 12 shots rather than 10).
I will prefer a nornfang at L7 almost anytime over the Delta, UNLESS I want something that can be very effective against spartans AND air vehicles at long range, in which case I might call a Delta. But in that situation, an Endgame is probably even better than a Delta, plus it’s cheaper.
I think if they gave the delta a few extra shots, considering its anti-vehicle effects, it would be almost as good as the Nornfang.
