As if the original Grunt Goblin wasnt OP enough, HEY let’s Buff it some more. What’s everyone thoughts on this.
As long as I don’t have to fight it at round 3 of Firefight, I’m all for seeing this thing wreck entire armies. One of my miffs actually has been that the bosses have always been too easy to take down, and more or less just stand there staring at you until they die.
Exception: Grunt Goblin on ARC when you spawn a banshee. Then he spawn kills you with his needler arm…
They did say that the shield was toned down, but we shall see.

I think it would be nice to fight it, before it gets declared op.
yeah these new grunt mechs are going to make Warzone & WZFF even more annoyingly difficult
BRING THEM ON… I’M Ready to Solo them.

I think he might make a fantastic replacement for the “Why is this even a thing?” Triple Wardens holed up in a base fights though.
I Do appreciate that they’re Nerfing the Shield, which will be great to snipe out the Grunt.

Oh my god, not judging a book by its cover?! This makes way too much sense. Get out of here with all that logic.
Hopefully the Beam goblin is easier to avoid in a vehicle. That was one of my biggest complaints while driving a tank or Wraith. I shouldn’t have to be always in cover when I’m halfway across the map and the needles still home in on me.
I’m fine with the idea of a Beam Goblin. More variety among enemies is a good thing. Also, beam’s are linear and don’t curve around cover. If the beam is truly reminiscent of a Scarab gun, then the Goblin will telegraph when it’s firing its main weapon.

I hope Grunts understand the concept of consent.

no, i was searching more for the stuff they said would be in part 2 and was not (playlists and warzone)
not a word about all that
They said the shield was toned down and functions like a Jackal’s shield, the Scarab Beam has a really long charge up time, and its multi-target attack does less damage the further away you are and more people it takes to track.
This is probably one of the better ways to balance it without just nerfing it to oblivion, although sheer health could still be an issue.

That’s still to come, this was just Canon Fodder for the lore enthusisiasts
I’m still more curious about the original to see how powerful the needles are and their tracking range. I do like all the visual damage changes the mechs are getting though.
Good. the harder, the better.
Fire fight is too easy.
I’m all for a new goblin variant I’m just sick of fighting Goblins over and over again in Warzone, the boss never seems to change… i never get any of the old bosses pre-goblin update
