Hey guys! Beach Lan 5.5 is streaming on twitch right now at twitch.tv/beachlan Beach Lan is an annual gathering of some of the best CE players around the country. It’s a CE 2v2 tournament. If you’ve never watched CE played at a competitive level I highly recommend it. For those of you that think the classic halos are too slow I highly urge you to watch this. You’ll see some of the fastest halo gameplay you’ve ever seen! It’s a great competitive game. Hopefully you will enjoy the stream and gain some insight on the intricacies of CE from the little things like double melee and quick camo to some of the deeper strategy like giving random spawns and nading power ups / power weapons. Who knows, you might really like what you see!

Yeah I know but my purpose was to spread the word to as many people as possible and especially people who may not have been exposed to CE and this is the most active thread. Not proper forum etiquette I know but spreading the good word about CE is a passion.

I agree. I think it would be nice if some Halo 5 kids (or just modern) would watch some games and realize that their thrusters, sprint, and other spartan/armor abilities actually don’t make the game faster, if anything the “enhanced movement” makes them slower and that the classic Halo games are only as fast paced as you make them.
