I’ve been a halo fan since the beginning(halo CE). I express my love for the game openly all the time. It seems like wherever I go, everyone is talking about overwatch or COD like it’s the best game ever. I ask them if they like halo(when they’re around others) and they say no. I get a text later saying that they all love the game but that their in the minority. I garentee you that at least half of the gamers actively play halo. Everyone thinks it’s a dead game. If we share our voices and love for halo, it will become a popular game within the community.

What!!! Overwatch is awful, even worse than halo 5 in fact!!! Halo isn’t dead yet, it will only become a more populated franchise when the game gets good again.
This is a great example of how game popularity works. It’s sheep following the herd. There just is no other explanation for the success of CoD. I’ve never played Overwatch or Destiny, but I’m sure there’s plenty of herd mentality at work there too. One or two kids make the move and then suddenly half the people on their friend lists are following along in their wake. And that’s fine. At some point it will all swing back around to Halo. And it’s no skin off my nose either way, so let 'em play whatever it is they think is cool for the moment.
