Be nice if we could get keybinding for controllers

I’m sure it’s a pretty late request, but it’d be nice if Halo Infinite could have a keybinding feature for controller users. I’ve been enjoying MCC lately, but it’s annoying to have to get used to controls i’m uncomfortable with from game to game. Halo Reach Default was the control scheme I enjoyed most, and if it wasn’t that it was Walkie Talkie. MCC currently has neither for each of the games

So do you read the blogs or not???
Custom mapping for halo infinite was confirmed some time ago

I think you will most threads are answered prior to posting in a blog post haha.

And yes its in.
I’m more concerned if its default bumper reload LT nade RT fire cause it can be hard to get the layout to feel right if not. H5G never had a layout I could really feel comfortable with

Connected to Actions

  • Player Goal: Player actions are quick, frictionless, and responsive.
  • Halo is best when the controls feel frictionless, natural, and responsive to the point that the controller or mouse and keyboard fades away and the player is just engaged in combat. Everything should feel intuitive and we don’t want the player to have to “fight” the game in order to have fun. It’s because of this principle, and the fact that Halo Infinite will be on PC, that led us to rebuild the control scheme system to allow players to fully rebind and remap their controls, regardless of platform. How players control Chief or their Spartan is crucial and we recognize that players feel the most connected to the game when control customization is fully featured.

Not everyone is a hardcore fan and that’s obviously okay. Could be a bit more welcoming.

On the Series X (not sure about other Xboxs) I believe custom button profiles can be set up for controllers anyway, regardless of game.

I use an Elite V2 controller so I don’t have this problem.

I appreciate ya! I see this was from earlier in the year, and I only just opened up my waypoint acct to mention to control issue.

I can enjoy every halo game up to 4 with my favored controls, and found some frustration completing H2 LASO because I’d sometimes mistakenly bump the wrong buttons which usually results in a death.

Completed that LASO this morning though, and I’m glad to have it outta the way (;´༎ຶ - ༎ຶ`)
