Be happy with the vehicles you have...Remember CE?

I’ve been playing through a lot of the old campaigns and multiplayers lately, including Halo: Combat Evolved. YES, the very first Halo game. I would find some awesome vehicle and get super excited. I would slaughter the enemy Covenant! That was before I realized that Your vehicle takes next to no damage. ONLY YOU DO. I would bust into a crowd of Elites and Jackals with my Scorpion. And…get destroyed.
It’s like that for every vehicle. So be grateful! You may not have your Hornet, but at least you don’t have CE vehicles!

Edit: This was more of a joke, I wasn’t completely serious, so don’t blow your top.

One was made in 2001
Another was made in 2016

This entire post is pointless, besides, I have a right to tell 343 to add more vehicles. I paid my money, they gave me an unsatisfying product, so don’t give me that “be grateful” BS.

I swear the gaming industry is the only place where people can not like something and get heat for “not being grateful.”

What about if my car didn’t come with a steering wheel? Should I tell them I’m pissed, or should I “be grateful” I have a car at all, even though it can’t be operated?

P.S. About you getting killed by jackals and elites while in a vehicle, Git Gud.

The ending of your post kinda showed your ungratefulness.

Halo 5 was satisfying for me, and the Wasp was a nice bonus, and OP - I’m pretty sure the player shields protect the vehicle, no clue how the health goes through but I guess it takes the hit.

I liked how vehicles worked in the original games (except splatter physics in Halo 1). Just because you didn’t like the old stuff and you perceive the new stuff as better, doesn’t mean you’re ungrateful when you want the physics to work the way they should. The vehicle physics in Halo 5 are not behaving the way they should. Just because the original was worse, doesn’t excuse the -Yoink- physics now.

you do realise that while you are in your vehicle this can still happen? You dont become invunerable when you get in a vehicle until it dies. You can be killed inside even a scorpion without it being destroyed. So I call BS. Hurry up 343 and give us a falcon which can actually take damage well unlike the wasp.

Well it wasn’t satisfying for me.

IDFAF if I’m grateful or ungrateful, what is 343 gonna do? Take it away from me?

Suck it up.

I think I know you?

Did you play Assassination Towers in Reach a lot, and does the name “King Darknez” ring a bell?

Why you gotta say it like that? I never stopped playing CE. I played on Xbox. Played on 360 backwards compatibility. Played it on PC. Played it Anniversary. Play it currently in MCC. I’ve been playing that game since forever. You make it sound silly that people would still play CE :frowning:

Halo games years after Halo: CE should have more to offer and improve on what came before as the bare minimum.

No, 343 should be grateful they have a job from us spending money on their product and Bungie creating this incredible franchise for them to take over. What have they done? They base the MP off of MLG feedback, take away split screen, base all game modes off of player count, and destroy the entire Bungie art style of Halo to put their own spin on it. I am not grateful. Hopefully Halo Wars 2 can change my mind.

I’m glad for what we have. Thank you

Jeez, man. This was more meant to be a joke. And you spent $50. That’s your average tank of gas, so get over it. And don’t give me that “should’ve been there at release” crap. Patience is something everyone is lacking. If you are unsatisfied return the product! That simple.

P.S. I was exaggerating about the Elites and Jackals. My point was, the vehicles stunk.

Many people don’t like to play old games. I don’t think it’s silly. Everyone is grumpy this week.

You played HCE SPV3 yet? It’s soooo good…

On topic, while I do like some of the vehicle mechanics, the fact that most are armor plated with tin foil kinda kills it for me… that and the lack of warthog jumping.

I think he means stronger vehicles not diversity of vehicles (who wouldn’t want more stuff).

Lmao

Whaaaaaaat? Seriously?

This is like the 10th time I’ve been noticed in a forum for that, I think I’ve left a legacy! I’m famous!

No, sorry. I’ve forgotten many names.

I loved halo CE vehicles!
Loved loading up my scorpion with passengers with sniper rifles and rockets. Plus you could actually fire the Main Cannon and Machine gun from the driver seat! That was removed in Halo3 I think

If your car didn’t come with a steering wheel then you shouldn’t have bought the car. If the game didn’t have something in it, you shouldn’t have bought the game. Check. Mate.
