Yes me. You can make it sound ridiculous in every way you want. But after watching his video about Destiny I refused to support the game any further. I was interested in what the new DLC brings and would normally just buy it because I can afford it. But his video has just opened my eyes and I was so disappointed about how they handled Destiny that I never buyed a single DLC and never will. And I am happy about that.
Doesnt matter if it is a random person, Obama or my mom as long as the person makes good points. And he does.
this guy really blew up with his whole war on Destiny, I occasionally enjoy his videos. Love how he never relents on Destinies cut content though, unlike all the reviewers who hopped back on Bungies di*k after TTK

It’s a fair review, and far better than the terrible Angry Joe review. But, as many other reviewers, he presents the REQ system in a little biased way due to the micro transaction aspect, i.e. presenting it as pay to win. Yes, you do get an advantage when buying req packs, but they are minor and noot significant. If you were able to buy the items you wanted with req points (i.e. not RNG), there would be very little weapon variaty. As of now, you are forced to try out what you have unlocked. The same can be said about Reach’s system, which lead to hardcore players only wearing the gear that you have to grind for countless hours to unlock. Also, the REQ system has opened the sandbox, and even introduce weapon variations that feature some of the most awesome weapons in the series.
However, I do think that there should be some kind of rewards for completing certain skill based, non-grindy activities (.e.g. unlockinga random legendary when completing the campagin on legendary, getting ranked with a high CSR or collected a certain number of perfection medals) and unlocking some base loadout and power weapons/vehicles at a set level (DMR at level 20 seems fair). What I don’t like are all those hundred of armors, helmets and visors that only have minor differences. Also, there are far too many loadout variations. Why not just unlock the different types of attachement (silencer, long barrel) and being able to chose the prefered scope as you unlock them insted of 15 different variants that make the unlocking system a little too grindy. Even worse is all the vehicle variantions that don’t add anything new apart from the cosmetic changes. They should at least change the cannon/armor/speed or something that would have made them more unique. So the system isn’t perfect, but it’s still good. Unlocking weapons and vehicles only based on level would make it unfair to low level players if they were matches against
Back to the review. He rates Halo 5 as a good game, and he focuses on the most important aspect: How the game plays, and Halo 5 excels in the gameplay department. He, the old Halo games had a certain feel, but it became a little too stale and slow IMO. I love the dodging mechanics to make it more twich-based and the game is very balanced. More content will be coming, which will keep us interested. The great gameplay will make people come back when more content is available. New content doesn’t matter if the base gameplay isn’t all that great or new content is locked behind a pay wall. Halo 5 has neither of those problems.

He is a pretty smart guy and I usually find myself agreeing with what he says (although sometimes it hurts my fanboyism). He reviewed Halo 5 like 2 days ago, and I think it was pretty spot on. My favorite part of the video is when he says some anti-sprint stuff that actually made sense to me and made me realize how it did hurt the game.

Doesn’t sound objective at all. You ate describing an editorial, not a review.
So, it’s come to this? We now sit here and degrade
people for watching a youtoober? Yet, some of you guys are probably sitting watching Twitch streams of DoTA or LoL… Harping over these pro gamers that have about as much social skills as a flank steak… Same punk -Yoinks!- also -Yoink- about your KD and -Yoink- and if it’s not positive, you suck at life and there fore have no intelegent -Yoink- to say.
Here is an idea. Broaden your -Yoinking!- horizons and open your god -Yoink!- minds. This “new generation of gamers” man. Bunch of self entitled -Yoinks!-.

He accused 343i of releasing HTMCC of purposely when being released before any information being provided on backwards compatibility, and when you look at the dates from tweets of phil spencer bdobbins is a total lliar creating havoc to drive attention to his channel

he’s smart but, not that smart he just uses a lot of metaphors, similes, and shouts loud. However he has some good info.
Anyway I agree with some part he said (except the part when he said it a pay to win), the warzone boss are bullet sponge because the AI boss don’t charging to my teammate or enemy’s, he just stay at the spot where he spawns. I hope 343 make the enemy AI bosses to move around the map and attack players and/or capture bases to make the game more interesting and more teamwork. I the part he said it should had been halo reach store when you apple to purchased your points to buy armor because I really want to get the scout Helmet but so hard to get due to the REQ system and I agree about the campaign, I was thinking it was going to be Old time Spartan vs New version of Spartans but instead it went to a “We had to save Master Chief from getting capture” story. But the game is still fun and better than halo 4 but not really better than Halo CE.
Anyways, I quite watching his vids since he rants over same topic to much and half the time he speculates rather than shows proof. I may think of him as a ranting 5 year old but you can tell he LOVES halo. Some of the criticism is uneccassary but a few are spot on. I myself have given 343 “tough love” criticism as they -Yoinked!- MCC up however I knew they could make h5 work cuz h4 worked. I also took into account how big of a project MCC was but 343 did decide to undertake it so reguardkess they’re going to have a little hate for failing in the longterm deal if that game. H5 has fuxedmany issues I had with reach and h4. H5 actually can be a game that can build up the other halo games as it’s a solid competitive game that simply lacks social needs of the other part of the community.
To whomever talks about h5 population…inaccurate. Only 343 will truly know it so posting a link of what the pop is at one time won’t work for now. You also don’t take into account all the constant changes of people getting online/offline all day long. 30k as max at one time is actually fine. Having a couple hundred thousand going on/off all day long is great to me. I’m sorry but halo has always been talked about as a dieing game. I’ve yet to see it happen just like people say the spurs are to old to win. Besides…people will come back after forge is here and other playlists are added. You can say all you want “bit some have completely forgot the game”, I don’t disagree but people WILL still come back.

Someone has to complain about the issues otherwise they won’t be fixed

The req system is extremely flawed, nearly as much as Destinys sytem

I think saying YouTubers don’t lie is a bit of an assumption. The same with assuming large sites like IGN that they do lie. Look, you may not like IGN’s reviews, I don’t think they’ve had quality writers there for years, but assuming that YouTubers, whom have far less (if any) oversight, are somehow more truthful than the big sites is absurd.

Only reason I say nearly as much is that it doesn’t affect ally gametyes unlike destiny.
