I know you need the Cloud to transfer saves/Forge maps to Xbox ONE, which I can’t do (currently) as I don’t have Gold Live, but do you need the Cloud to transfer your rank/armour??? I don’t starting a new save, but can’t be asked to play for hours re-unlocking all my stuff.
Also, can I use my Anniversary Map Pack code on my Xbox ONE???
Armour and rank save on the servers. So just like how you could load up your character on anybody’s 360 and get your rank and armour, it will automatically transfer to your xbone as well.
Forge maps, clips, pics, and other custom saves, save on the hard drive. And those need transferring to your cloud to use.
Just remember, if it’s on your drive it won’t transfer without the cloud. If it’s not on your hard drive it will transfer without the cloud.
If you’ve already used code on the 360 you can click on Halo Reach and “manage” the game and all your DLC will be there to download. If you haven’t used the code, you should be able to, but I’ve never tested it.
