BC of update, game broken. Game deleted.

I deleted Halo today because I’m not a good player anymore. I used to be great at Halo 1, but somehow I lost my abilities to the younger generation of lifeless kids.
The new weapons tune has rewarded skill players and destroyed any hopes for average players. I have barely won two games in 3 days. The matchmaking is completely skewed. Warzone has lost my interest. As has all of halo 5. I’ll be back for Halo 6.

Hardly sounds like a broken game is the issue…

I have to agree with the OP. This game has changed. It take forever to find matches. The BR is terrible. Finally adding LAN two years later. I mean. Come on.

I hate to to say this. But I’m really starting to not like Halo 5.

Stick with it man! My skills aren’t what they used to be either. My old Halo Reach self would be able to quite easily 1v4 an entire team of my Halo 5 selves (weirdest sentence I’ve written in eons). Despite that I still enjoy Halo 5 immensely and think it’s the best multiplayer experience since Warhawk. Just take a break from the game and come back in a month or two.

This is one of the few times where “git gud” actually works here.

Also, you’ve won two games in one day: today. If I count 7/4, that’s two more wins.

I really really liked Halo 5 warzone mode for a while. I was never any good. Couldn’t seem to keep up with the speed or accuracy of some of these younger folks (the myelin on your axons in the nervous tissue is still at peak, enjoy it while it lasts), but now it’s really unbalanced. The kids who can hipfire head shot moving back and forth while ducking and strafing makes me thing they have elite controllers or something. Or. I’m old and need to put the games down. Haha. Either way, I’m done. This update rewarded good players, and punished everyone else. Enjoy your games. Waiting for star wars battle front two.

Have fun with your other games OP, hope we see you back again for future Halo games. Saying maybe just a shorter break from Halo would do you good? Give it a few weeks and jump back in, maybe you’ll find your rooting again.
