So I was playing MCC BTB on standoff (Because, you know, standoff is all I ever play on) bored because I just wanted to play on a new map, when I found a curious weapon, the mauler. IMO the most forgettable weapon ever. And I LOVED IT!!! This literally was such a fun weapon!!! I want it in future halos!! MAKE THIS A PRIORITY 343!!! I mean please make this a priority 343!
The Mauler was good if you were in melee range other then that it was just a mini shotgun.
It was cool! One shot plus a punch was all you needed, or if you dual wielded then the opponent never stood a chance.
I like using the mauler. It was like a weaker but duelwieldable shotgun.
One time with my friends. They caught me off guard and I was duelwielding to maulers and they almost took my shield down. I killed one of them then I had no shields and had the right weapon to kill but I killed him. It was awesome and made me love this weapon I use to hate.
The boltshot used to be a lot like the mauler. They nerfed it this time around for good reason. I’m fine without maulers.
