Does anyone get Halo 2 Turf map vibes from the map Bazaar? So apparently Turf was on Old Mombasa and this map will be after the urban renewal. I am super excited for this map and speaks to me like classic maps did.

Bazaar is a close second to Behemoth. The bright, colourful desert littered with the greenery of trees all contrasting the bright blue sky with its amazing skybox. -Yoink!- it is beautiful. I need Behemoth, Bazaar and the BTB map, Fragmentation to be the beta maps!

Live Fire is my second favorite. That high tower really sold me on the map and gave me some Pit vibes. The one thing I notice about all of the maps which we have seen is the design to bring back the importance on 1v1s in specific areas.

Huge The Pit vibes, love it! The maps finally seem to be memorable again! It’s been way too long since I consistently enjoyed a Halos MP map design artistically . Hopefully it plays just as good as it looks.

Fully agree! The maps have moved on from being warehouse maps which is such a big deal. I see themes from all of the past Halo games. Something happened at 343i and it seems like a miracle. Maps so far seem much better than Halo 4 and Halo 5. The art design is a nice mix between Halo 2/3 and Halo 4/5. The guns sounds fantastic. It’s hard to comprehend how all of these changes happened. Craig may be our messiah instead of enemy now.
I’m really digging behemoth seems like a fun vehicle map, with open sightlines

I honestly just think 343 realised finally what people wanted and decided it was now or never. I’m really happy they decided to embrace Halos pre-existing legacy instead of trying to create a new one. Halo existed before them, it shouldn’t have been changed to begin with, but they’re making up for it. It feels like Halo is making its triumphant comeback after 11 years. Praise be Lord Craig!!

A few hours ago I was going through my old history book when I was in 8 grade and found a lore which can explain how the word BAZAAR reached Africa. First of all, some African countries specifically South Africa, Kenya and Mauritius use words from Hindi instead of their English counterparts. When the British forces controlled Asia and Africa, many Indian slaves were deported to Africa as labourers, some of these labourers managed to become rich and open their shops ( specially silk and spice shops, silk was bought from north and spices were brought from Kerela a state in southern coast of India). These shops were set in specific areas and a collection was called bazaar as it was called in India. Still many people in SA, Kenya and Mauritius use words from Hindi which was spoken by their forefathers.
Another lore, this map is set in part which was remade after covenant glassed parts of Mombasa to uncover Ark.
