So I was playing warzone, defending my garage when I saw some enemy coming up the stairs with an overshield. I groundpounded him and was about to finish the job when he pulled out an smg with a bayonet and killed me, full health, in one hit. The same guy killed me five more times that game simply because he had an energy sword strapped to a gun. I’m not even jealous, I have bayonet mods for every loadout but don’t use them outside of firefight out of principle, it’s just I just don’t see how they can be used in a fair game. I know removing a feature from a game is never a good idea but can we please consider getting rid of bayonets, please.
Increased shields or whatever it’s called. Use it.

I’d really rather not. There are a variety of counters available…enhanced shields, overshields, keeping your distance and they are unlocked at high enough level that they aren’t game breaking imo.
I have yet to use the energy bayonet, I honestly am too busy in the moment to change my loadouts once I hit level 8 anyways. If i’m changing, it’s for a power weapon/vehicle
I only use the default loadout weapons without attachments, bayonet is really annoying but you’ll have to use upgraded shields to counter it

If only you knew how much of a power weapon it becomes.
Why not counter then instead of trying to change the game? as others have already said, use upgraded shields, that makes it so it takes two hits unless your shields are down from being shot, or equip overshield or forget about some principal and use the bayonets as well.
There’s nothing fair about Warzone and there are no rules. Use whatever you like without feeling bad. Cmon, join the darkside, enter the Bayonet.

I may have to give it a go sometime, I still primarily use the suppressed versions to keep me off radar and help with recoil
Yeah I could use a req but I still feel bad for people who wouldn’t have upgraded shields. It’s a good tip though
Literally all you need is upgraded shields or an overshield or spawn a sword or shotgun. I’ve also seen needlers do great work against bayonets.
Also, most bayonets are ultra rare (some are rare though) so they’d have to grind a lot before they unlock one so most people will have something they can use to counter it.
I enjoy carving up fools with it. To counter, use the same strategies as you would an energy sword. Shotgun…
They may be OP, by that doesn’t mean I won’t use it to its highest potential 
I hate the energy bayonets also. It’s annoying that you have to have upgraded shields to counter it. What’s the point in having other armor mods if everyone is running around with bayonets, in turn, everyone uses upgraded shields.
yea bayonet is OP as fk. hate them. but i use em too, not gunna play at a disadvantage throw on a camo you are using a prohpets bane that can shoot. dont forget advanced sensors for maximum lowlife sneaky annoyance. works great for me

I’m going to assume that you have a bayonet on at least one loadout since you’re SR125. But this is a really dumb complaint, honestly. There are way to many counters to bayonets to make it worth removing. Overshield, Energy Sword, the bayonet itself. Honestly, I really don’t give a damn if I get killed by a bayonet, unless I’m trying to go for a multikill/killstreak, which is rare. But the bayonet is awesome, I’ve used a SMG with a bayonet twice in enemy garages and got a Running Riot and Killing Frenzy. Not my problem if the enemy doesn’t know how to counter that, because that’s on them.
I hate when people purposely just melee with a bayonet repeatedly. It does become useful when you have a close 1 on 1 encounter though
I don’t see the issue here, because all Bayonet weapons are REQ level 8. If you don’t have anything to counter them at that point in the game, that’s on you.

So you’re asking to remove a weapon attachment cause someone one-shot you with it? Well can’t say I haven’t done the same in past games, but I find the Bayonette to be a lot less useful than you’re making them out to be.

You can very clearly see the bayonette from a distance, never get in close enough for someone to use the lunge.

If they have an overshield, spray them with the smg or Plasma Pistol Overcharge, or both actually, and they’re done.
I do a lot of super fiesta customs and get Bayonettes quite frequently, they are incredibly easy to counter.
