I mean why have a sword if you can instant kill with a bayonet? I Think it renders the sword useless as you can always have one free. I just don’t want to have to result in Upgraded sheilds over Advanced sensors. I just think it’s OP and doesn’t fit ‘Halo’s style’.
Its just for warzone and only appear when it comes to req level 8. Or at least be at distance so you dont get lunged.

The Sword and other basic CQC weapons are level 3. The Bayonet attachment is at level 8. I don’t see how it renders the Sword useless. In addition to that, it’s Warzone. Stuff isn’t meant to be balanced. You want to -Yoink- about Mythic weapons next?

The sword will always beat the bayonet, plus the bayonet doesn’t have instakill Spartan charge and as much lunge range. Plus you only get to use at level 8 reqs which isn’t to often.

It’s perfectly balanced, but I agree, it isn’t Halo-esque.

Yeah no I love the bayonet, combo it with the Increased Strength armor mod, and the speed boost, and hot damn!
I love just running around and smacking people, hit and run style.

As much as I completely hate and loathe the bayonet, and would love to see its departure, I’m afraid I would have to disagree. The bayonet doesn’t appear until the later stages of the game, if it appears at all. The swords and shotguns can be accessed in the beginning stages of the game. There is plenty of opportunity to carve people up with the sword.
…just gotta remember to stay away from people late in the game…

When your at REQ Level 8, why would you use a Sword? the Bayonet is just a subsitute, If you want to use a Sword make it the Vorpal Talon or Prophets Bane. No one uses a Base Energy Sword when at Level 8 so i don’t understand your argument.

Battle Axe = Gravity Hammer
