Bayonets do not belong in Halo

In a game like Call of Duty, especially the older ones, you are simply a human with normal capabilities and no special armor. It would make sense that getting stabbed with a bayonet would kill you.
But in Halo we are Spartans that have augmented upgrades and Mjilnor armor with energy shields. So if a knights energy bayonets is a one hit that would make some sense, but to throw on a one hit kill bayonet to any weapon you can load out with in warzone is out of place.
Sword, hammer, shotgun, scattershot; what happened to the close quarters combat we’ve had in the past with power weapons. These make it much more interesting than a single swing from a bayonet (which would honestly never penetrate a Spartans shields and armor, and lethally wound them).

I hate how the beyonet late game just makes the sword pointless cause it’s basicly a sword you can spawn unlimited amount of times.

I don’t think there should be any one hit loadouts, extra shielding for surviving head shots or snipers that can shoot any where for a one hit kill.

I like how it’s so conveniently ignored that weapons with Energy Bayonets are all level 8 Reqs.
