I’m sorry but I’m tired of getting into a gun fight only for my opponent to lung at me from across the room with the damn bayonet attachment. It needs removed or the lunge removed.

Exactly. I personally love the bayonet. It’s fun to go active camo with it and cause serious problems in an enemies armory.
It has the same range as the normal melee. It doesn’t become available until you reach a pretty high REQ level anyway.
It has a higher melee lunge than a standard. I’ve never seen someone lunge across the room with a standard melee. And I don’t like the shield mod I prefer the upgraded thrusters.
Is fun to use though, walking in to a base like you want some, you want some…
It’s level 8. It should act like one. If it is that much of an issue use advanced shield when people start taking them out. You can use upgraded thrusters before that.

It says on the tin that the melee range is enhanced.
It could use a bit of a range nerf imo.
I agree all I want is a range nerf. Getting some to almost one shot or even sometimes one shot and they lunge insta killing you. Sometimes I get killed by it after they already killed.
I dont use the bayonet at all but honestly when i play no one use it at all so i dont see your problem.
No offence but that’s you. I see it every other game.
Some people also use increased strength with the bayonet which further increases melee distance
I just got one, and I have only ever been able to use it once because the game never seems to last long enough for me to get to a high enough req level

No. You are wrong. The bayonet lunge has much longer range to it. The bayonet should get nerfed, it should only lunge as far as a regular weapon. Its ridiculous.

It really isn’t that much longer. Personally, I don’t think it’s that big of a deal either way. With a longer reach, its melee should be expected to have a bit of an increase.

I don’t need the extra reach to kill someone. Plus I was making an opinion. I personally don’t like the range. The range should be the tip of the blade not three feet in front of the Spartan.
