BAW (Brothers at War) recruiting the active!

BAW short for Brothers at War is divided up among 4 different squads within the halo reach division. TF Carnage is the European Squad, they cover BTS and else. TF Hammer is BTB, TF Head Hunters is SWAT and Team Snipers, and TF Harbinger is the North American BTS.

Brothers At War is a military structured organization, where people of lesser rank are expected to follow orders given to them by members of higher rank. The Brothers At War Chain of Command is broken down into 5 user groups.

Enlisted
NCO
Warrant Officer
Officer
General Officer

In order to get this far you must have first filled out an Application to join the Brothers At War. Once the Application is submitted a member of the Brothers At War staff will look it over and may ask you some questions through your application (so be sure to keep an eye on your application).

If you have met the basic requirements for joining BAW you will be made a Recruit, your Application will not yet be approved at this time.

During the Recruit phase of the Enlistment Process we are gauging your activity level and evaluating your character. The Brothers At War uphold a high standard, we expect all members who become Brothers to adhere to that standard as well.
During this time Recruits are encouraged to join in on practices with Squads in the Task Force they are looking to join, and be active on our website.

During the Probationary period Recruits can be denied entrance into the Brothers At War for any reason, there is a zero tolerance policy for any rules being broken by a Recruit.

The Probationary period is 15 days from the time you have been approved for Recruit. After those 15 days have elapsed without any issues and you have remained active your application will be approved and you will be promoted to the rank of Private.

Upon completion of the 15 day probationary period members are automatically promoted to Private. From that point onward members are promoted by being recommended by a superior to be promoted.
Members are promoted for working hard, showing up regularly for practices, going above and beyond to enhance the Brothers At War Community experience, actively Recruiting new members, and showing they can handle additional responsibilities. Their is no “time in service” requirements once the rank of Private is achieved, as long as leadership believes a member should be promoted they are encouraged to recommend members for promotion.

Enlisted

Upon completing the 15 day probationary period members are promoted to Private and are moved to the Enlisted user group.

NCO

Members of the NCO user group are considered staff members, as this is the first user group that personnel will have the ability to do things on the website. This includes moderating forums and commenting on member applications.

Warrant Officer

Warrant Officers are the Brothers At War specialists, members who are head of departments such as Graphic Design, Map Creation, or Recruitment are Warrant Officers. In addition, any Team designated as a “Competitive Squad” those members are eligible for Warrant Officer. This includes personnel who hold positions which require a great deal of knowledge about their particular game, such as Task Force Training Instructors and Basic Training Squad Leaders.

Officer

Officers lead Squads, develop tactics, approve member applications, announce promotions and demotions, and ensure activity of members.

General Officer

The General Officer ranks are held for those who hold “Council” level positions, such as Task Force Commanders. The General Officers are responsible for the day to day operation of the Brothers At War. This may include creating and amending clan rules, approving new Task Forces, and approving high level promotions.
