I think as long as there are credits in a battle pass, another battle pass is in the plans. Otherwise, like you said, the store is your only option for spending them. It’d be a bad business decision to essentially give away free stuff at that point.

Question. I have completed all the battle passes but not bought them. If I buy one season (like season 2), will I receive these 1000 points to unlock the next season, and so on?
Youll start at tier 30 where the free one ends. Have to get to tier 95 to earn the full 1000 credits.
True, but not mandatory to play campaign.

This is a common misconception, the way cosmetics work specifically in Halo DOES affect gameplay, it’s always been this way, at least as far back as Halo 3 and as recently as Halo 5 with Timmy and Olive.
Cosmetics unlocked through gameplay DO affect gameplay it affects replayability. Not to mention the vast majority of Halo players don’t want to have the same dull grey basic **** spartans.

The problem with events is they are FOMO and seasonal battle passes are forever. So having a lame seasonal battle pass and good event battle passes is not good i.m.o.

If you have made it through all 100 tiers of the battle pass then yes upon buying the battle pass you will instantly unlock all of the premium content under the paid battle pass which includes the credits. Do not listen to @SpartyFrotch they are not correct. I have already done this twice.

Yeah let’s make you pay for crap content and then grind for anything decent or have to pay way more for a small amount of “high quality premium” content.
Mistake on my part. I thought there werent 100 tiers in the free version.

As long as the server issues get sorted then I’m fine. I could care less about the battle pass. You never see the colors or armor core you’re wearing while playing anyways
By content, are you talking about cosmetics? I don’t think of cosmetics as content, but maybe that’s just me.
And what are you talking about grinding? 343 have made challenge progression and XP gained so easy that most players will easily get through the BP in less than the three months.
I think most players would appreciate an actual grind through something like commendations or actual challenges (not these weekly tasks that we have now) so long as they are not time gated.
Cosmetics are the content that is being sold in this game. But more specifically by crap content I mean terrible looking items, a bunch of emblems and Xp boosts/challenge swaps.

Depends on what the cost it. I refuse to buy the battle pass anyway but if theres actually a decent amount of armour for the free players I’ll be satisfied.
Looking like most of the free stuff is XP boosts, emblems and the like.
