At first I got the battlepass because it seemed to have a good value with something to work towards. The further I progress through it the more and more I regret buying it in the first place. What’s the point in even getting it if most of the coolest stuff you can get is not compatible with anything else (coatings, visors, etc.). Now what upsets me even more is that after buying the battlepass thinking I’d be able to get all reach armor they add more reach armor in the store to be bought separately. Not that any of that matters because I already got conned into paying for THE COLOR RED on my yoroi armor. I’m well aware that this game is free to play but the monetization is just so far beyond predatory at this point. The gameplay is so good and I’ve been having so much, but the promise of reach level customization with millions of options on day one just gets worse every week with the introduction of more premium content. The armor has ALWAYS been based off of progression and performance until Halo 5 came out and everyone started to get complacent. I’ve already sunk 30 bucks into this game and I just feel so stupid for it. Fix this pricing and give us more options to unlock ACTUALLY GOOD LOOKING ARMOR through gameplay. I do not in any way blame any of the hard working amazing developers who’ve spent years of their lives making this game but the corporate end of this (Microsoft and 343i execs) are just a bunch of greedy pigs and you all digust me. Just because the rest of the industry has to ruin gaming doesn’t mean you guys have to as well. You could’ve been the trend setters for change this generation but you gave into greed and just absolutely ruined progression and freedom.
P.s. bring back ALL original emblems free of charge, there’s no reason why I should have to pay for the Jolly Roger that I’ve used well over a decade
