Battle Tracks

Battle Tracks is back in Halo 4. The following tutorial is to help you set up your track to work with Battle Tracks game variants. The current games are Battle Lasers & Battle Snipes. Unfortunately due to a lack of certain game options in Halo 4 some of the game variants now require honor rules.

The goal point should be at least two hills side by side, or if you have room three hills side by side, separated by dividers. The goal point must be either two lanes or three lanes across. The reason for this is so multiple teams can get points at the same time without contesting occurring.

If anyone would like to convert some tracks or have any new tracks, I would be glad to add them to the map data base. Thanks and if anyone is interested in racing or playing any type of customs we are going to be hosting games soon!

wall of text crits me for over 9000. This game type use to be cool, but I liked it with 40+ (in order) checkpoints.

Well the wall of text has to be there in order to show forgers how to set up there track for Battle Tracks. It’s not my fault that 343 left out all the game options from previous Halos. Also Battle Tracks never had check points in order, you are thinking of regular Race. BT just had one goal at the end of the track. Either way, it’s a fun game type when set up and played correctly.

weird the battle snipers we use to play every friday had checkpoints …
