Battle Royale must be PvPvE

Creating a new Battle Royale to attract the public of Fortnite, Apex Legends and Warzone is crazy, the number of games that tried to hang on to that trend is overwhelming.
If you have nothing more to offer than a large-scale FFA with vehicles, I tell you that Fortnite already does a good job and Battlefield 2042 failed to capture part of that audience.

IMO it could be a Hunt Showdown style thing and make teams of 4 to hunt outcasts or targets like the secondary bosses in the Halo campaign.

If it’s not going to be as dead as the competitive one in this game, I wanted to enter twice yesterday and couldn’t find any games.

I’d love the introduction of some objectives. COD has contracts you can complete which give you an advantage, whether it be armor, money or kill streaks. Something other than hunting down other players could make the fun factor last.

One of the things I thought was awesome when hearing about Battlefield 2042’s Battle Royale was the introduction of bots you had to fight along with other players. It really upped that danger factor while keeping the objective away from just taking out other teams.

With all of the inspiration of other Battle Royale’s, I definitely think that Halo will (hopefully) introduce one of the most unique and fun takes on this game mode.

Battle royale isn’t a trend. It’s been the most popular game type for running on 6 years now. Saying it’s a trend is the most dented head take I’ve ever read.
