So I have a really cool idea if Halo is going to have a battle Royale. I have a vision of the battle Royale setting and starting sequence being very similar to how halo 2 started. I could see all the players dropping out of a ship odst style on to a halo ring. I think it would be insanely cool if the whole ring was the map and as time went on parts of the ring would fall apart. There could be all kind of vehicles weapons, ai, and even telporters spread through out the map. It would feel like multi-player and campaign were combined!
No
BR would be fun in halo but it shouldn’t be a priority for 343i. if infinite’s forge is going to be 1-upping halo 5’s then hopefully the community will be able make their own high quality BR mode.
No.
Absolutely not

I’ve been saying for a long time that Halo is the perfect fit for a Battle Royale gametype. Everyone drops in as an ODST or UNSC Marine with various armor pickups. Replace the storm with Covenant Cruisers glassing the map or The Flood slowing infecting everything with Sentinels picking away at players health who are caught in the storm. I think Halo deserves a chance. I know there’s plenty of people who don’t like the gametype but no one is forcing them to play. I hope 343 gives it a chance.
I really hope that we get a BR mode, I absolutely would love a BR mode in Halo.
I don’t know how I would feel about a Halo BR mode. I would have more faith if Bungie was in charge of this project.

It’s not though, or at least, if it is perfect gameplay for BR then they seriously messed up the multiplayer. It’s bad enough it has ADSing already, don’t tell them to make it even stronger.

I don’t understand this logic, please help me here. Bungie made the entire fanbase lose it’s entire -Yoink- because of Halo: Reach during beta and full release, even the pro league was up in arms.
Then they move on to Destiny, we all remember that big mess they made? only to recover in Taken King, followed up re-entering the mess, to fix it again during Destiny 2 release, only to mess it up again with two crappy DLC’s then finally fixing the series after Forsaken onwards.
Can we all stop pretending Bungie are the best devs going, Halo 2 alone was crunch x11. I love what Bungie has done in the past with Halo and Destiny, but lets not pretend 343i are any better or worse than Bungie.
343i can make a good BR, as I am sure Bungie can.

You could contribute more than just saying “NO”. Tired of this dynamic of refusing that there is a BR just because it is the fashionable game mode and there is Fortnite.
I don’t think it’s a good idea for the map to be the whole ring. Since the size of a ring is equivalent to the diameter of the earth, it would be immense. It would be better if it was a specific area of the map where the Floods were found, something like the Ark quarantine area where the city of Great Charity is located.
An infested area where we must enter to recover technology and information. I would see it great.
PLS no^^
The explanation why Halo should not have a battle royal: Slayer, BTB, Ranked, FFA and CTF are core modes from Halo wich almost every Halo player looking forward to. Halo is Halo and dont need to be like other games like PUBG or whatever. Imho this game doesnt need to be an “egg laying woolmilk-pig” (sorry for the translation from german into english :D) i mean, it don’t has to be such an allrounder with every game mod, every player count on the map, to make every single player with any sorts of desire happy. The game is not even finished yet and will not even launch with all modes.
With that said, it’s so much work to put in the game, now, after the next flight, on launch and beyond launch and it’s way more important (not only for me but for almost every Halo Fan and the Franchise and devs itself) to launch the game in a good state and release the missing Content first.
I think a BR mode would just dilute the player base in other modes. Not every game needs a BR mode. There are other games for that.
I don’t think its a necessary game mode but if enough people want it it could happen
Personally, I don’t think Halo’s sandbox is that well suited to battle royale. The dynamic between basic weapons and power weapons creates a huge balance headache for battle royale. You could probably make a Halo battle royale work, but I think it would require a whole lot of changes to the weapon sandbox. Anyone who drops and finds a sniper or a rocket launcher just has too much of an advantage over anyone else, and I only see it being frustrating.

No… with a smiley face?
I think it should be its own stand alone game. The main reason bring it will play much differently compared to the multiplayer and weapon balance will be way more drastic than we see in COD multiplayer and warzone.
For starters, the health system would revert to reach and CE where health needs to be picked up and only shields recharge. The sniper is hitscan and would be completely broken. I think there are just too many differences from multiplayer that it wouldn’t really play well as a mode in infinite. I think a BR would have great potential as its own separate game.
