I’m not opposed to the idea of a battle royale but I hope if it does become popular they don’t neglect the arena core of the game

also please don’t add achievements that require specific things inside of the BR mode. ಥ_ಥ

The BR made a return in halo 4 and its been with us since.

I ll give it a go. Any content better than no content.

But not sure how Last Spartan Standing will have the same draw as a massive map battle Royale. The multiplayer maps are nice but a little bit barren and small for a true BR mode. I think you need that cat and mouse suspense for it to work.

Do you think at E3 we will see a teaser for this new mode Certain Affinity are said to be working on?

343i hasn’t nailed the base game and people are asking for a BR as if they have even nailed the fundamentals of a live service game.

I find it funny if this is true considering 343i said they wouldn’t go the BR direction. This would just add to the mountain of lies if true.

Looking at the state of the game, it looks like they neglected everything for a BR mode.

It can’t be elimination or attrition because there were more than 3 other spartans that were outlined as enemy.

I think it will be multiple lives, just a limited pool.

I personally don’t think it will be a BR mode, because of all the other leaks regarding that huge mode.
That looks like BR/Warzone, which would be incredible.

We’ve been mostly discussing Last Spartan Standing, yes :grinning:. When I was referring to a BR based off H5’s Warzone sandbox I was referring to CA’s mode though. I think the topic overall is referring to CA’s BR, so that’s what I assumed the individual complaining was being annoyed by.

My personal guess is that CA’s mode is going to be like H5 Warzone and PUBG had a baby. Having a BR with PvE elements could give us a BR with unique Halo elements too.

That mode (imo) could be the thing that blows Infinite up. If they can nail it, it could blow up up the entire industry

The only BR to me that is good is APEX. Everything else isn’t anywhere as interesting to me.

If halo BR is a thing, it needs to do something different, and have it actually be enjoyable to play.

I’d prefer an invasion type large scale objective based game mode like from reach, crossed with halo 5s weapon customization and Spartans vs elites.

Game cant keep up with 8 players in a match. I cant wait to see how bad a BR will be with 343 behind it.

BR stands for Bible Review

Halo is a biblical reference afterall

Fortnite has virtual concerts and movies, where as Halo will have scripture review every Sunday

I’d recommend 343i fix desync and crashing before releasing a BR. Might help a little. Just saying.

I pray to God not.

  1. Battle Royale is an all consuming plauge on games’ ongoing development. Once it’s in that’s it. All the resources and attention go to that and nothing else. Remember when Fortnite was a Co-Op Survival game? Remember when Titanfall existed and Vince promised Apex wouldt replace it?
    If BR happens I promise we will never see Forge or any content ever again not related to BR mode. I DO NOT WANT THAT.

  2. It would be them going back on their word hard. Remember “The only BR we are interested in is the Battle Rifle”. If they do this, the last shred of remaining faith in 343i I have left will have evaporated completely.

Regardless, I hope that something like this comes into the game. Playing team versus team or free for all is fun, but having a Battle Royale would be incredible to have in Halo Infinite.
